it makes me sad that this is even a question

I get your sentiment, but not everyone can be lucky enough like most of us to be able to claim fandom since the inception.

What I love seeing is Cam giving the TD ball to the kids. He's building a future hard core fanbase. Remember, we're still a first generation stable of fans. These kids are getting a life long memory and will turn out to be what makes the future of the fan base gnarly.

i moved here from colorado in 2002. i didn't give too much of a poo about football, but i spent the elway era fifty miles south of denver, so i was sort of a broncos fan by default i guess. i watched the panthers superbowl in 03 and adopted them as my team, but didn't legitimately start watching games until halfway through the 2005 season. i remember the bears game where delhomme got sacked like eight times and they stifled our offensive attack as the first game that really truly pounded the poo out of me emotionally, and that's where i now consider my birthplace as an emotionally-attached fan of the carolina panthers rather than just a casual observer.

eight years later i'm spending too much time on this dumbass football forum for the fifth straight year with you motherfugers. it's been a long decade and i had better a get a superbowl out of this poo.

PhillyB, CO is such a beautiful place. Lived in Lakewood with a friend but for no other reason than to experience what this thing called "winter" really was. Worked in Boulder, which is my third favorite city (behind SD and Charlotte).

It's funny how emotionally attached we are to this team. Haha. I've spent probably 1/3 of my adult life on this forum. Thanks for helping me feed this unhealthy obsession Zod.

Since the panthers beat the fugging cowboys in 03/04 playoffs. Started liking them because of Smitty, but I loved the panthers after that game. My dad is a lifelong cowboys fan, and I've always hated them.

I have absolutely no problem with new fans though. Its great to see the fanbase grow.

I have lived in Indiana my whole life and I have been a panthers fan since They began in 95. The first time I was able to watch them was in The 96 playoffs. Unfortunatey sunday ticket was not around then at that time and I was only 11 years old. I have never been to Charlotte but I did go to the panthers colts game in 2003 where They won in OT on a Kasay fg.
