wrong as someone who played 18 years of baseball/softball   a direct shot on the cup still makes you sick to your stomach.  If you dont wanna take my word for it .. buy one I'll meet you some where and we can video tape your reaction to a cup shot.

But congratulations on that 18 year baseball/softball career.  Maybe you can tell us all about it later?

ah yes well I did have a fairly distinguished career around the diamond.  So kind of you to inquire,   but my point was  18yrs= experience.  Seen a ton of cup shots in my days on the field and taken a couple myself.    Cup may have saved some sperm count but it hardly blocks the pain.

It is physically impossible to be hurt if you are wearing a cup.

I'm not so sure you have ever worn one.

It is very possible, especially when being kicked like that. Your junk bangs against the cup and it hurts like a mofo.

I'm not sure there wasn't some degree of intent there with that kick/leg swing. Even if Aldon was taking advantage of the situation to get a small cheap shot in, I doubt he meant to hit him in the junk.

It appears pretty intentional to me. No real reason to make that motion other than going for the man's junk.

Not a fan if RGIII...but I don't wish that on any man. Well, maybe Fat Alice.....but he us not a real man anyway. So it is all good.

Really?  Would you volunteer to trade spots with Rich Franklin here?

OK friends.  A comedian in the 70's used to do a bit about being a football player and not drinking out of his cup and how it was "physically impossible" to be hurt while wearing a cup.  I find it hard to believe that any of you would ever take anything I say seriously, much less a comment like this.

Next time I will attach the following disclaimer.

<WARNING:  SARCASM AHEAD!>

Carry on.

    • Doubling tripling and quadrupling down on this subject in defense of the pick is reminiscent of a certain mindset that has overtaken the political world. This conversation will become less contentious and dragged out to the point of becoming a dead beaten horse if rational minds can simply agree that we made a mistake missed on a potential franchise center and we will learn from it. All this coping is unnecessary.
    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle. Also, “flashed his talent” isn’t 9 carries for 22 yards. His one reception for 18 yards isn’t a flash with 11 other touches for 27 yards. He hasn’t proven anything. We have no idea if he’ll contribute in 2026.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
