If we were 3-8 would you have patience for Cam (be honest)?

In 2011 Cam had the best first 4 games in NFL history and we went 1-3. If we were 3-8 this year then yes, a large portion of this board would be blaming Cam no matter what. But another portion, the portion who are not complete idiots, would be evaluating based on what happened in the games.

    • Yeah. Not sure who got their nose out of joint between him and JR. I think it was said that JR didn’t like him making that request.   JR being an ex player, I can see why he wouldn’t feel like media should get credit for team accomplishments.     I wouldn’t imagine a student broadcaster would get a lot. The attraction is the experience and exposure of you do a good job. Resume building. Connection building. ThT sort of thing. But I am only using my experience in a different field to make assumptions.    I think once you get an agent you have more financial opportunities but I never worked in that arena.
    • Not sure about how the salary cap would handle that, but we are probably on the hook for whatever money he would have coming anyway.
    • One of the all-time greatest Panthers.  We were so honored to watch TD and Luke play together.  Probably one of the greatest LB duos to play the game. You could feel the passion he had for the game and the way he approached the game.  I remember many of the huddlers wanting to give up on TD.  JR wouldn't do it and we should be eternally grateful to JR for believing in TD.   I love the story about Fred Smoot.  I happen to be at that game.  Smitty ruined his career and to hear TD talk about how really great Smitty was.  After this video I admire him even more.   One additional thing that I don't like about the NFL is that there are people that put you in a position and don't really care about the outcome. (Talking about the medication that lead to his suspension) I lbelieve TD had no clue what they were doing to him.   God Bless TD and once again one of my all-time favorite players.
