Will Scott return for the NO game and if he does will he get the nod as the starter?

 

He may have not graded high on PFF but our running game went down significantly after his injury.

I think our run game started a steady decline after week 3....once teams figured out how limited we were in how we could run.

Cam has kept is statistically "good" since then

I've felt like for a while that our O-line is a paper tiger, our best asset to how our o-line has held up is Cam Newton, we normally get little to no push at all.

We are missing Harstock more than Scott.

No way Scott's fat butt gets off the couch and starts. IMO he backs up Chandler. We finally started doing some good things against a strong run defense today.

Plus Tampa was blitzing right up the middle all game and we were picking them up.

NFL defenses are constantly probing.  They take away one thing and make you beat them with another.  The last few weeks, teams have decided to take away the running game and have Cam beat them with his arm.  Don't expect any different from the Saints.

Except that it hasn't worked.  Well, it maybe worked in the SF game, but against New England, Miami and Tampa, we were able to move the ball.

It can only work if you are a one trick pony offense.  We have adapted to the defenses thrown at us and when they stack the box, we have made them pay.  Props to Shula for his calls and the rest of the offense for execution.
