Side Note: Yesterday was apparently a bad day to be a ligament.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski tore both his ACL and his MCL while Cardinals DB Tyrann Mathieu tore his ACL and LCL.

Ouch :(

I aint too happy with olsen. Yeah he'll catch the ball, but he just seems like a tall lanky guy who is the last person you would want to make a dude miss for the first down.

Damn sucks for the young lad... unlucky hit he took. would have took anyone out. I was suprised the commentators didnt comment on the hit when it happened... it looked bad. but they didnt give a poo bout carolina all night....

You can't really say that. If Cam breaks his neck last week he doesn't become a bad draft pick. Stewart and Otah were monsters on the field when healthy, and you can't decline to draft good players on the chance they could get hurt.

The NFL isn't concerned with player safety, it's concerned with limiting their legal exposure to lawsuits down the road.  The NFL just finished settling a huge lawsuit related to head injuries and head injuries are the big hot button in sports right now.

I was all for Otah or Stewart, did not want to give up draft picks to get back into first round, but what I am saying is that it has turned out badly for us to invest that much and have it go to pot.

Doesnt hurt this offense a bit. More carries for Dwill and Tolbert. Maybe our running game will start to roll again.
