Knowing from a family in the medical field, Plc tears usually aren't operated on because of the difficulty and when they are operated on they don't last long because the new tendon is more likely to stretch then other knee ligaments. It's a really bad injury.

Typically in sports related injuries, one of the other ligaments gets damaged when dealing with pcl tears.

I know a PCL tear would be rough but, we are talking about a guy who broke his neck in college and played the next season..

Would hate for Smitty to miss his possibly final chance at playoff football and it was a weird non contact injury.

He played one play and didn't run full speed or really run his route. Unless you say he hobbled his route on one leg. He barley put pressure on it, when he was on the field.
