You guys are morons if you get your hopes up for the #1 seed, likely will lose to Atlanta

It was a fun ride today watching the Cardinals beat the Seahawks, but there is NO chance in hell of the Seahawks dropping two in a row to end the season at home. The Seahawks have the loudest stadium in North America, there is no way a team led by Kellen Clemens beats the Seahawks.

But here's a bigger and more pressing issue: this is the definition of a trap game for the Panthers this week. We saw what happened after the 49ers and Patriots games on the road against the Dolphins. This whole fan base and this entire team treated today like the Super Bowl. They know the playoffs are coming. Meanwhile, the Georgia Dome has been the worst place in the NFL for us to play traditionally and stopping us from a 2 seed is the only thing the Falcons have left to play for. ALL this plus it's likely that 89 doesn't play.

In fact, I'm so convinced the Panthers won't win the #1 seed that I'll donate $100 to charity if they do. It would be a nice story, but I just don't see it happening.

    • Honestly just glancing at those numbers, I’m just happy about the attempts. Looks like he was on par with Baker who is known to push the ball down field. I hope this trend continues and really opens up our whole offense.  Side note, Penix only having 13 attempts and most were probably against our 3rd stringers that last game should exclude him IMO.
    • Hunt and Lewis were two big swings we hit big on. Credit where it's due. We have Icky on the left and Moton holding down the right and our interior depth is solid. Unfortunately Center looms large. If we are to rewind back to just a few years ago things were pretty damn dicey at that position. While they have improved we are basically hinging the development of the offense this season on Cade Mays because at this point it's only a matter of when not if Corbett misses some time.
    • I’m gonna go out on a limb to say this bc he doesn’t get enough recognition — Hunt is the best player on our team and one of the most impactful locker room guys in the league. I think he has been a huge reason for how things have changed. Even if the grades you find online aren’t world beating, he is proving to be worth it from what I’ve gathered and seen. And watching how different Miami looked last season without him helps see this as well. Really hope he can lead this offense into a well tuned machine for 2025. Paving roads for Chuba, giving Bryce time to hook up with McMillan.
