Training camp idea

Wouldn't it be cool if the Panthers picked one fan out of each practice and let that fan eat with the team? The deal would be No autograph or picture requests. You're just there to soak it all in.

Wouldn't cost the Panthers anything, hardly. And one fan would have a great story to take home with them.

Also, what about letting fans take their shots at the barrels for five minutes after practice...you know, the ones the quarterbacks throw at?

The fans are down there suffering in the heat, throw them a bone.

I just think it would be great after practice was over and after the players who wanted to leave have left if they let small groups of fans walk the fields with a guide or something and maybe have some of the players hang out. No pics, no autogrpahs or anything like that, I guess more of a q&a kinda thing. I cant tell you how bad I want to run around barefooted at BOA, this would be a nice start.

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
