Olsen overshadows Tony G in his final game

My man, Greg Olsen put up another solid game. The Nutty Professor, made plays with his hands in traffic and in tough spaces all day. Some of those drive the offense had to day flat out dont happen if Olsen isnt out there. What an amazing gift from Chi-town. ;) we love ya.

 

It wasnt spoken of often today but Olsen outplayed Gonzalez today.

I mean itd be nice of 89 was 6'4 but he's not. Olsen is what he is and I, personally, am pretty grateful that he's on our team. Breaking tackles and juking fools is all fine and dandy but what puts bread on the table is speed, smarts, and hands.

Olsen is very good for what we ask him to do, and that is be a reliable target for Cam. He's a great guy too.

And we care why? Congrats on Tony career and soon to be one day a HOFer. But I care more about our TE more then anything. Also a note: Failcons are a butch of selfish noobs. Failcons could have given Tony G, one last chance a ring if they would have traded him back to the Chiefs. But instead they declined to do so. Therfore giving Tony G. no chance at a SB run one last time with the team he was drafted by. Smh!! Failcons franchise screwed him.

I would rather have my every down player catch the ball, get as many safe yards as possible and be able to walk back to the huddle pain free. Not every play needs to have jukes and jives.

 

You obviously misunderstand our offensive philosophy. Not when the player involved is the second most important player to the entire team.
