The Pride of Both Carolinas

Why all the hate for SC?  I will admit it is all about crappy Clemson and USC football down here, but then again NC and SC are small markets and have a harder time with professional sports competing with college football.  I'm just glad we have a professional football team in the Carolina's whether it is NC or SC where I have the opportunity to attend.

.01% of South Carolinas population has voted in the poll. Wouldn't really call that enough to say an entire state doesn't support the team.

Maybe only .01% have computers or access to computers? Someone send them a poll card in the mail and check back in four weeks. Ah man we will have a winner by then! LOL

I don't know why NC is talking poo. I saw y'all scrubs waving terrible towels during the preseason, because despite being in Charlotte there were certainly more Steelers fans than Panthers fans.

Now that the team has been winning, there's been an extra Panthers fan or two at the bars. It was nice not to be the only person wearing Panthers gear or cheering for them at Kickin Chicken this last Sunday. It was even better not to see any Foreskins fans.

But you're welcome for supporting the team that only your area benefits from.

Now go be better than SC with your ability to marry your cousin.

    • Everyone says AT was old and slow but the one thing he could do consistently was get separation. That takes skill and it's been a huge issue in our WR for years. And while Moore may be a great locker room guy and our WR coach may be a 12 year vet, he's not playing in the game. Vets like AT do what they do because they can see things others don't and exploit it. The DB interview I mentioned before was with Stephon Gilmore after his DPOY season. He was pulling the younger DBs aside showing them things you wouldn't even think you'd be able to tell from the way the receiver was standing.  Seeing what a DB or LB is biting on in game that can give you that half step advantage is huge and we don't have that experience in our WR group right now and I think it could end up hurting us. None of our receivers have lined up against NFL corners successfully on a regular basis. Having someone that can walk over and give you a tip to get a half yard separation can be a difference maker.
    • We only fielded about 4 NFL calibre players on that unit last year.
    • only 1 QB in the history of mankind has managed a winning record with his opportunities in the David Tepper era.    Bring in PJ.   He has NFL tools.  He will at least be entertaining if called upon.  How is that not better than Andy.  *PJ Walker bandwagon is back up now that it is....not...time for for the percolator.
