Rivera: "We're at home. We'll show up and play."

First time in the playoffs, against the NFC Champions of last.

It's only fitting.

I try not to get sucked into mind numbing arguments with "rival fans", especially ones that couldn't even come back after their loss to us earlier in the year.

It just gets me a little peeved when you come over like an unwanted in-law ready to just post up and annoy everyone until the game after which we will never hear from you again.

You're like the house guest that eats all the food hogs the tv remote and wears the bath robe of the homeowner. Not offensive enough to get thrown out but arrogant enough to think that it's ok.

I've said it since the win streak started. I don't want respect until late in the playoffs. I want to be doubted. I want to be overlooked. I want every opponent in the playoffs praised and I want every talking head to barely let the words "Carolina" and "Panthers" slip from their lips. I want us willing to kill for respect. I want us playing with that 03 Smitty fire where if you just looked at him with the wrong attitude, he flew off the handle.

Sunday might very well get fuging ugly.

Carolina? one of the loudest? Just stop. Just stop.

we made a pretty big impact in atlanta following up a classic in BOA where the fans stood in there seats, getting pelted by the elements making a ton of noise.

maybe past yrs but this yr, no way.  its our house and we get loud.

There's no need to watch the game earlier, when we had no one else besides two playmakers.

It's the playoffs, of course, intensity is revd up

Look dude! You had your entire team playing at Green Bay. And you barely won the game against that sorry ass packer defense. So don't give me any of your BS about how great your team is. Come Sunday at 1:05 pm at BOA bring your 53 and we'll meet you there...period.

"I go hard for my team...only if they win though".

What are you 5? When you have season tickets you don't get to pick which games they win or lose. These are the Panthers. You might not have been around that long, but fyi it's been a lot more losing than winning over the years. Your the one popping up with 100 posts after their best season in 5 years.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
    • Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
