100 Things Panthers Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die

Recommended Posts

My GF got that book for me for Christmas - I had never heard of it before - she also got me a Panthers coaches jacket like RR wears on the sidelines.  The book makes great bathroom reading because its broken up in small bites- just time enough to read one of the hundred things while taking a poop.  TBH I know most of the stuff in the book or at least about 75% but some I had forgotten or never knew.

I got the book for my Dad for Christmas. He is enjoying it. While I was wrapping it I "accidentally" flipped it open and started reading. My fiance had to grab me and make me put it down. I was reading the chapter on Mike Minter. It's very enjoyable.

MM also wrote the intro to the book

Lots of stuff any long time Panther fan knows, but some neat little nuggets tucked away in there.Making sure your GF knows that the Colorado firefighter guy from the Bachelor played for the Panthers so you can talk about the Panthers to your gf is worth something at least you young whippersnappers

    • Assuming Mann is back I’d go ahead and move Green and the first rounder from PHX for a starting center. I prefer Okogie to Green anyway.
    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
