Bay Area Writer: Kaepernick One-Read QB, Cam Actually Reads Defenses

Fellas, it should be noted that this "Grant Cohn" character, is well known in San Francisco's "alternative lifestyles" community.  One anonymous source went as far as to say he had witnessed several different 49er facility managers flouting his unwarranted advances.

As such, I and many 49er fans are convinced his articles/blogs are his reprisal towards our franchise.

One should note, he favors the Panthers this weekend and coincidentally his "needs" have always been regarded as "resilient".

The analysis comes from Trent Dilfer.

Does he also have an axe to grind against the 49ers?

You do realize various other commentators and writers have echoed those identical points too, right? Aikman and Gruden basically called out Kaepernick for his inability to read defenses and go through his progressions on the air.

You have to be blind to think Colin does not have problems with progressions. However, he overcomes this (as best one can) with great preparation and crazy talent. He won't read a D like Peyton, but he isn't obsolete. He can make pedestrian progressions, but he needs LOTS of help.

I don't think he has issues reading the defenses, but he locks on once he reads the D, or makes predetermined pumps/looking off of safeties.

Kapernick is primarily a one read QB....who runs or checks down immediately after.

That IMO says the most about the coaching staff. It is called conservative football.

But IMO that does limit the QB and offenses potential.

It is why it is a nice matchup for a stout fast D. His OCs one guess isn't wide open it gives you an opportunity to create negative plays for the opponent.

Yes, you are correct.  My only assessment of this situation is that there seems to be the existence of a secret media cabal, if you may.  Seemingly, this cabal has been rumoured to include journalists/bloggers/beat-scouts/and has-been professional football players, all with the same agenda.

Taking it one step further, Grant and Dilfer might belong to this same group.  As such their asinine sentiments towards, young Kaepernick are explicitly understood.

I will continue my research in this endeavour and probe the anonymous source for confirming information.  I will let you know!

Well, I highly doubt you are connected to the same inner circle I happen to partake in.

Furthermore I have a deep qualm conceptualizing you with season tickets at the stick, these past 27 games, since young Colin had taken the reigns.

I bid you good day, sir.

Hey, this article is only confirming what many of us knew long ago.

Cam is much more advanced as a passer than Kaep, it will pay off in the win sunday and it will pay dividends long term.

Gettleman needs to get Cam two wide receivers, anything less is unacceptable.

Cam was putting better stats than Kaep with a worse receiving corps
