Zod thanks for everything. I have been a lurker and member of this forum since before 2006. It has been a huge place for me to come vent, explain my excitement etc. with people that I know actually understand. I've been here since the game when the board crashed after we beat the Falcons, and haven't been as active since. (kind of like when you have a high score on a game, lose the memory so you barely play it.) However I still read.   This has been an amazing season, I still can't believe it's over.  I pray that we will be back in this position....with a different outcome.  This decade of being a fan has shown me nothing is promised, and to take it all in.

      I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.

      Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.

      Only way Canales is fired is if we are attrocious everywhere....  defense /special teams and offense..  There are enough "questions" on if BY9 is the guy that ownership wouldn't fire the coach for "just" mid qb play.  Especially with as talented a roster that has played "well enough" to win some tough football games and hang in there against the top tier of the NFL ...(mostly).   Now total team suckage..yeah .. but I don't see that happening.
