Since we're supposed to be preparing for a Super Bowl run next season on a budget, let's talk about home town discounts once again. Since Chris Gamble was released the secondary has been a target. Deservedly so.

I'd like to see us finally draft a WR, double up on Oline and draft another TE. What would make that possible is shoring up the CB position with a veteran. Chris GAMBLE still had a lot left in the tank when Gettlemagic released him. C'mon Riverboat how bout another GAMBLE?

He retired. His shoulder injury was far more serious than earlier thought and he's going to be 31 in March.

 

It was his choice to retire, he's done well for himself and made wise financial decisions that will allow him to live fairly comfortably and enjoy his kids.

No. Gamble was great here but he's retired and has no interest in coming back. It's very hard to come back at full speed after a year off from football, especially given he was injured the year before that too if I recall right.
