WR Brandin Cooks

My thinking is one big guy and one small guy.  Smitty wlll not be here much longer.

My small guy in my mock was Herron who I also compared to a young Smitty.  Course I targeted him later, but yeah one big, one small is good with me

Starting to like what the kid can bring to this offense. He wouldnt be my first choice at 28, but def in the 2nd round. If he has a good combine, I wouldnt mind moving up a few spots to grab him in the 2nd.

He's much more Antonio Brown than 89.

I was a huge fan of Tavon Austin last year. Imo, if Cooks was in the draft last year, he'd probably go before Austin or at least a top15 pick. Cooks is everything what the Rams hope Austin can be for them.

Could Ginn be the small guy?

I doubt he'll be there in the second, but if there's a run on WR in the first I wouldn't mind picking him. We would still need a big pass catcher in the second or third. Taking him in the first might actually give us more reason to select a TE. Though if somehow we could get both Cooks and say Moncrief I would be ecstatic.

    • That's pretty cool.  I don't care about the garbage versus not-garbage time non-sense.  You play what you have to play, and everyone has garbage time one way or another. After all, if you don't win before the game starts, then are you really a winner?  Isn't it all garbage time anyway?  (Sarcasm with a capital S)
    • Not cherry picking when I was simply addressing the point of too many ints and I see no reason why Bryces should be "drastically" higher especially given the fact that Newton had Steve Smith, Greg Olsen and Brad Lafell to throw to while Bryce had Theileln, Mingo, and Johnson. If anything, Bryce should have been worse but since you accuse me of cherry picking, I'll add this: Newton completed 57.7 % of his passes with the Pro Bowl players; Young completed 60.9% even with inferior talent to throw to.
