I just realized: We're the best team in the NFL

We are the best team in the NFC for sure AT THIS MOMENT. I knew the Giants would slide near the end:

1.) BUT, they are dangerous in the playoffs, just like us. That's why it's important that we lock up home field where we can reign with authority. However,

2.) Locking up home field will be no cake walk. Let's not forget, tonight's is a divisional contest b/w DAL and NYG. You can write off anything that happens in a divisional game. Teams play differently when they face division rivals, and anything can happen. Anyone who wants to point at tonights game as an example of weakness on the Giants' part, remember, we are only 3 weeks removed from a manhandling at the hands of the inferior Falcons.

3.) We are not the best team in the NFL. That honor goes to PIT until I am proved wrong. The Titans are pretenders and will be exposed. the other AFC division winners are jokes (IND was TIED with DET for a stretch there), but PIT, is just an all around strong team.

That said, we'll be seeing them in TB, or dare I say it, and as much as I hate to admit it; a rematch of Superbowl XXXVIII?

We are not the best team in the league...the best team in the league holds up the lombardi trophy at the end of the year and until its taken from them they remain the best team in the league. Therefore, we play the best team in the league next week. And guess what...they are going to be PISSED OFF.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
