No way would I want Peppers back,i just  don't feel his heart would be in it. The young defensive ends we currently have would probably perform at a higher level than he would.

Right now,  it's a no,  simply because I believe Peppers is spent.      He disappears even more NOW than he did back in the day.          I believe the answer for Hardy possibly leaving is already on the roster.     DE is one position that we're actually pretty good at developing.  We've had some stinkers,  but,  I fully believe we've a quality young DE on the bench just waiting for his chance to be a starter.

I don't see any reason to get rid of hardy for Peppers.  Hardy is better and his cap hit on a long term deal would be no worse in 2014 than a short range deal with Peppers.
