Alterraun Verner possibility at corner?

Tennessee isn't expected to keep him and he was graded as a top-12 corner this year... Supposing we go other needs in the draft and we aren't using up huge cap room on Hardy, do you think we should try to get Verner? I didn't really watch any of their games so I don't know how good he's looked, but I'm really open to anything at corner at this point.

Verner is a stud that I would love to see in a Panther jersey but I have a feeling he will be out of our price range. Add him to our secondary and we remain a top 5 defense even in the event we lose Hardy.

Hope it happens but I seriously doubt it.

Nice thinking, but wrong end, I am afraid, as you all probably know.  I think we are going to continue bottom feeding in free agency for at least 2 years.  Heck, it worked pretty well this season (Florence, Mitchell, Mikell, Blackburn, etc)

I don't think we can afford him, he's not the relative unknown he was in Week 8.

I think we sign 1 significant FA this offseason. Out of our 3 weaknesses, you would want that to be CB since it is a very difficult position to learn. WR you want in the draft so that he can grow and develop with Cam. OL, you can sign pretty solid ones at a low price in FA and also draft some in the later rounds.

As much as I want him, I don't think it happens.  He's a solid scheme fit for us and one of the top corners in the league.

Too good to happen to us.  Guy is young, physical, fast plays the ball well and sticks well to top tier receivers.  He is likely to get a large contract.  Proven player with a lot left in the tank.  Only way I could see it happening is if we signed him to a very long term contract (6+ years).

Verner is going to get a big contract. The kid is young and a stud. Been one of the top corner for two years now. Been making play with little help for the Titans.

Would love to have him.
