Does size matter?

At least for catching TDs it seems to.Below are the top 15 receivers for TD receptions. Will this play in to who we draft or pick up in FA? It could.

It's not a coincidence that most redzone threats are big targets.  The windows get smaller in the redzone and a big receiver can simply go up and get balls that most smaller receivers can't.  In his prime, Smitty was great at using his strength and leaping ability to be better at that than any small receiver I've ever seen, but even with that, his career TD numbers lag behind most guys who have put up his yardage.

Of course tall pass catchers don't hurt, but it's not a requirement to win the SB, eg. Seattle.

ive always thought this. just look at smitty. he had speed and route running, but his TD totals are a bit lower than someone of his caliber.
