He was an underrated college player and he is on his way to being a legit Pro Bowl corner in the next few years in my opinion.

Agreed.  And from what we saw on the field, I would say that is very likely.

 

Unlike say Norman, White played pretty disciplined last season.  He was making the right decisions on the field and it showed.  This is a very good sign.  He understands how to play the position well and experience on the field will only improve his game.

 

I think the future is pretty bright for the guy.

Smitty praised his work ethic. Said he hit the rookie wall late last season but believes he'll only get better.

Has all the requisite traits. Height, size, instincts, physicality, etc. Don't know if he'll be a star, but he should be a solid starter for years to come. The only thing I don't like about him is the baggy undershirts he wears.

He'll only improve. 47 tackles 5 deflections and 2 ints is solid for any rookie DB, and the fact we got him undrafted is amazing.

You also have to take into account that Brady is a first ballot HOF'er who's a master at manipulating DB's with his eyes and body language, ie pump fakes, etc.

That's more for safeties. If you go back and watch the film it's pretty bad of him just getting burned and getting faked on quick routes

You had a perennial probowl quaterback against a rookie cornerback. He is supposed to get exposed some.

The CAUSE of him looking bad against New England is overlooked. The league is also a copy cat league. Some of his problems later on could have come from tape of his game against New England.

What is the idea of the rookie wall, the college season would have been over therefore the player just doesn't have enough gas to finish out the year? If that happened to our 2 rookie DT's which I think it did, how good is our line going to be next year? Wow.

I dont know that CB is a huge need for us anymore....just an awakening that I had.
