Mike Williams (TB) most likely to get cut according to NFL.com

Smith vs Lucas

As long as I thought the locker room was strong enough to corral him I might try and send a 7th for him. The good news is that we have a lot of young talent. The bad news is we might not have enough veterans to handle a troublemaker.

I must not be aware of everything in his past. He seems like the victim in the stabbing and I know about the hotel room.

Am I missing something?

Cut it out everyone. :-/ I don't think he will cut it here. I don't think he is cut out for the NFL. His cuts are not very sharp. He has trouble edging out the defenders.

Was funny the first 100 or so times in this thread...not so much anymore

I apologize for calling you old, just joking around.  It is hard to type sarcasm.  Picture Happy Gilmore when Happy tells Shooter in the bar that he might go lay by the bay and eat some hay in reply to Shooter saying your are gonna pay watch what you say.  That is pretty much what I was going for.

I disagree with the troublemaker label here....and would rather chalk it up to maturity issues. He's been in the news for partying in his affluent neighborhood with his neighbors calling the cops in his parties. His DUI charge was dropped bc it was suspicion and the urinalysis came back negative. He was stabbed by his brother but nothing like Burress/Ray Lewis/Kenny Britt kind of weapon issue...just crazy family. I'm not saying he might not have an ego or have entitlement issues bc he's an athlete, but IMO, I would def toss a 6th or 7th rounder out there to not have to outbid people for a 26 year old very talented WR.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
