Everette Brown Watch

Don't want to put anymore pressure on the Rook but being our #1 pick this year I'm very surprised at how much we're not hearing. This goes out to all those campers that have gone out there to watch camp: You are now deputized and hereby ordered to do a camp long stake out of said rookie and report back to your fellow huddlers!!! ....Please?!? :-)

I've heard several reports of him doing just fine. If you're that enthusiastic to see what he's doing, call in sick and drive to Spartanburg. It's not someone else's job to keep you informed. It's a privilege, not an entitlement...

After he shat out the cure for cancer and several million dollars to be donated to various charities, Brown slaughtered the entirety of the team in a brutally Nordic fashion. When asked why he did this, he said it was his destiny to win...not theirs. He then vanished in a halo of holy light and the smell of cookies filled the air, letting all present know for certain that they had indeed just witnessed the finger of God touching the Earth. We can only assume he will return in time for the first regular season game.

...ok that was kinda dickheaded. But I laughed....

Isn't that what the internets and tweets is all about. Cooperation. The season is upon us. Excuse the enthusiasm. :)

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
