I almost think he thought he was back in college and didnt need to be touched down lol because as he was falling his head turns he looks right at dowdle who has his hands open expecting the ball and flails turns slowly back towards rhe line and then as hes getting tagged it occurs to him it would have been very low risk to toss to dowdle at this point..... he sees dowdle here... as hes going down he knows we're he is.... 1.4 seconds pass from the time hes on his butt to when he gets touched down. Super processor my azz.

I was happy to see Cherelus pull it together towards the end because he was a huge minus early on. They were going right at him early. Those big hits late made a difference. I still have hope for him. Also, I’ve been saying it all year, but Princely needs more snaps. That hit on the kickoff was big time. He seems to have a knack for making plays ven though his snaps are limited. Also wanted to add, Ransom would’ve been perfect in a game like this. I really wish they would quit bullshitting with Nick Scott and go ahead and start Ransom when he’s back. Richardson should even be ahead of Scott.

Tremble is that guy on offense. I really wish we would find more ways to keep him out there.

Which reminds me, whatever happened to inconclusive evidence? How tf are they always finding angles to overturn a ruling against us? It's happened many times this year. Majority of the time when watching other NFL games, the call on the field stands if there's even a smidge of doubt.
-
Lol. Even sadder. It would make a lot more sense if he were 15.

Decided not to use AI for once?

if kaseklosed is 15 then he started posting here when he was like 1 lol

Anybody who's still on this message board is a real fan. Because why tf else would we waste our time on a message board if we didn't care about the team? What I do find funny is that the majority of us are ALWAYS on here win or lose, yet the "superior" fans only come around when we win. Funny how that works.

I did think about some of those games when typing that post. Ugly but a different kind of ugly. We put up massive offense and then pulled a Falcons. Except we snatched the win away at the end. Still, winning and it not being pretty is much better than losing. That team knew how to win. Mostly. But look who we had.

So true...look back at 2015 when we won 15 during the regular season and like half of those went down to the wire

Sounds like you’re just caping because I have already stated my intent when I posted. Was it hyperbolic? Sure. But that’s what’s fun about this board. I don’t need validation. I’ve been posting what I think, good or bad, for years. In my everyday life, I speak my truth and stand on that. I don’t care about validation, affirmation, or popularity. I enjoy the discussion, good or bad. If you re-read, I didn’t say I’ve never seen a QB get stepped on. I said I’ve never seen one, to the best of my memory, have that happen in that fashion on a 4th down and then lay there like the MedAlert lady. And I said I brought up that play because again, how often do you see other QBs have that happen? How often do you see QBs who are “super processors” decide to throw a ball out the back of an end zone on 4th and goal to go? How often do you see them get squared up with a defender and fumble before even getting hit like a scared child? He does poo that other QBs NEVER do. Some have, but they don’t stick around for long. The good ones NEVER do this poo. And that’s the problem. And again, yes, Zavala is a fuging chode and played his part in that play… but I go back to Bryce and his limitations and this being an ongoing issue. It’s like if it’s not him fuging up, someone will because Bryce is out there.

Amazing what happens when the starting qb goes out.

Will 5-6 wins be enough for Canales to keep his job?

Lol lol your posts always age like fine wine.. lmfao not understanding why we defer in OT with no sudden death is frikking hilarious -
I disagree. And it’s not to be edgy. I feel like this thread used a single play to illustrate a years-long problem, and that is verifiable. The vast amount of his body of work is subpar. The amount of his “wtf was that?” plays are more than any player I have ever watched. The opportunities he’s been given to commit that amount of plays is also more than any player I can remember. To come out one week and throw for 450 yards and 3 TDs is awesome, but then what about the games like last week against the Saints? It’s not an agenda. It’s rooted in fact. I praised him a couple weeks ago in a thread after a game for playing his best game I had seen him play as a pro. And then again, as I previously said, he comes out and lays an egg like no rotten egg ever seen before on what should have been a gimme of a game. As good as this win feels and as cool as it is that he had the box score he had today, the issue with him is consistency. So for all the “this thread didn’t age well” comments floating because we won and our team as a collective was able to overcome those flubs and turnover on downs, in part because ATL is ass, one week to the next you never know what you’re gonna get with Bryce. I’m hoping for the best, but do I believe we’ll be closer to the mean or worse? Yes.

Will 5-6 wins be enough for Canales to keep his job?

last year, we were the happiest 5-12 fan base going into the off-season based on our end-of-season momentum, compared to other 5-12 teams that were just horrible -
thought we'd throw in the towel after we were down (what, 14-7? 21-7?) That the team/coach/water-kids were able to pull it together and make something happen is a strong showing of players and coaches believing in each other now let's do it consistently. Win the games we're supposed to win. Be competitive in the games that we're not favored (and maybe win those too)

“Led”

Goff didn't have a great first half, but he looks like Shedeur Sanders in the 2nd half.
-
It actu!ly helped us We took some more time off the clock before Bryce found TMAC in the endzone, only giving ATL enough time for a field goal

Exhibit A 4th down and 1 Brycey sees Dowdle break free from the coverage and instead of floating it back corner to a wide open dowdle decided to pump fake twice and shuffle trying to beat the linebacker to the edge instead of diving..... TIMID Exhibit 2..... you guessed it fourth and short the blitz and a gap pressure is TELEGRAPHED brycey takes the snap hesitates for a second (it wasnt right off the snap that mayes stepped on him) gets his foot stepped on and instead of tossing it back to Dowdle (right behind him) sits on his bum for turnover on downs. Of course he did! He should have thrown for it last week too! This is the second week in a row teams literally weren't using a deep safety AT ALL because he wasnt even attempting deeper throws.. until his azz was on fire.
-
Oh you think Bryce can’t throw deep? Well clearly you haven’t watched his tape against McNeese state

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
MickMixon'sMetaphors replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Funny story that means nor implies anything. My daughter was in from Clemson this weekend. Took her to Empire Pizza in rock hill. They had the game on. She knows nothing about the panthers or football in general. She looks up and says (paraphrasing) “that one guy has tiny arms. He doesn’t look like a football player at all. He’s small. He should work out or something.” I asked her which one. She says “number 9”. Was a funny moment. great game though today!
