He's been invaluable to the Panthers this season, there certainly wouldnt be a Monday night game with playoff implications against the the 49ers who sit at 7-4 and current 7th seed against the Panthers 6-5 current 9th seed. With Tampa only a half game lead in the Division with a trip to LA to take on the hottest team in the NFC the Rams. If he doesnt go off against Miami, Dallas, Greens Bay. we certainly lose all those games and the only real discussion on this board is who we taking in the draft.

BTW Brooks made his NFL debut November 24 last year. Very nearly 4 months later than the start of camp. If not 4 months - I didn’t look up camp dates but it is late July right?

I don't think he will ever be more than a 3rd RB/special teams guy. If we move on from Dowdle, we should definitely sign or draft a good NFL caliber RB.

Those passing yards were accumulated with Mac Jones at Qb for what it's worth. The last two road games at Green Bay and Atlanta we've faired well. Their passing strength does line up with our weakness. They were already dealing with injuries on defense and now the backup MLB who was filling in for Fred Warner suffered a high ankle sprain against the Cardinals so they will be down to their 3rd string MLB so a defense already struggling will have to deal with replacing another starter.

This is why it had to be done - if he was deemed ready. Plus, I don’t think he was rushed back at all. At draft time he was said to be ready in camp, if not For camp. Hell when did they bring him back? Was it November?

They got the #2 pass offense in the NFL and could jump to #1 any given Sunday at this point. They are playing at home. There passing strength also syncs up with our weakness on pass defense.

Trading up for Bryce was a mistake in my opinion, definitely a reach by everyone involved. But like you said he has to be more consistent in reading coverage and stretching the field. Hopefully something clicked and we win some more games down this brutal stretch or at least be competitive. KEEP POUNDING!!!
