  1. Past hour
  2. This means little to nothing Ladd McConkey was the 34th pick last year. His contract was 92% guaranteed. Contract Value: $9,995,186 Fully Guaranteed Money: $9,185,943
  3. I get the shock of them not following the norm but not at the outcome. The rookie wage scale still dictates how much and given how small it is outside of the first so what? I'm fine with the rookies all getting guaranteed contracts since they already did it to the more expensive ones in the first. The players honestly dropped that ball in negotiations. The cap keeps going up, ridiculous contracts for guys who aren't even great go up and ticket prices keep going up so I don't really care.
  4. Today
  5. We're probably not going to be shy about cutting Tuttle either.
  6. I love how the know it alls are still posting as if they knew this was going to happen, and damn, Morgan, it's your fuging fault, how could you not know this would happen. Stfu.
  7. Its crazy football is the most risky to your health but doesn't have guaranteed contracts. Baseball is is the easiest on your body and you get stuff like this... https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40430232/bobby-bonilla-day-2024-new-york-mets-pay-119-million-every-july-1-ohtani-contract-deferred-money
  8. I thought similar but it's away games. If they were watering down the home games then I would agree.
  9. Ghosty slander will not stand. But sit Orlov. Tired of seeing him lazily trot back to wild pucks in the neutral zone and then lazily flinging the puck into danger.
  10. I knew Zack in college. He was a great guy and I’m glad to see him doing well.
  11. If we did play nikishin (which no chance rod does unless our entire defense gets hurt), it should 100% be burns followed by Walker riding the bench for him. Edit: I forgot orlov - slot him in between burns and walker
  12. Teams on the build are not allowed to whiff on top picks. Just can’t, and Brooks was just such a dumb pick. very Tepper razzle dazzle shiny toy esq. I just hope the poor guy hasn’t checked out mentally after all of this. It has to be brutal from an emotional perspective. Played his whole life leading up to this moment and this is how it’s shaping up. That pick should have been a lineman/LB with a high floor from a big school but it’s water under the bridge now. Thank God the grownups were running this recent draft.
  13. Interesting. So we could gain an additional ~$2mil cap space if/when he's signed to another team for that offsetting amount?
  14. Signing Rico and drafted Etienne made this a much easier decision
  15. Seems to go against what the RR truly stands for, but okay.
  16. https://www.rent-a-plane.com/aircraft/slsa-certified-light-sport-aircraft-rainbow-cheeta-i-e-bushcat-bush-airplane-at-ktta Phhht...that was simple!
  17. Ghost needs to sit. Guy is toast.
  18. I don't think it's unwarranted to think that he might be better than some of the guys we have signed/drafted(maybe even all of them, in the worst of all cases). However, he has very limited time left in his career and we are not going to be competitive during that minimal amount of time. There was really little benefit to continuing down that road. You don't make the signings and draft the players we did and still having him getting significant snaps. I just hope we have clearly upgraded at the end of the season.
  19. Goddamn Rod. Defense and offense. fuging play him over Ghost Walker or Orlov. I don’t care.
  20. At the end of the day, I wish 'em luck. If they can find a market, good for them. I just hope they know what they're signing up for. Transitioning from being an everyman's fan club having some home bars scattered around the country and throwing some bashes is a helluva lot different game than trying to jump into the elite luxury experience. I honestly don't think you can pull off both, you gotta do one or the other. Neither group wants anything to do with the other. The former sounds fun. The latter... I think I'd rather slam my dick in a car door than hear some nepobaby whining about some poo that makes me want to throw him out the door of the private jet at 35k feet.
  21. Why do this? What leverage did the rook have to get an unprecedented deal? Just go status quo and stop trying to get an ESPN article written about you at your own and everybody else’s expense.
  22. In terms of trying to book a private jet I wouldn't be surprised. One off is a lot different than regular bookings and if you can fill it up (which I'm sure they're banking on) it's a lot less per head
  23. Not worried boys. Cape gave us everything and it was a one score game. 1-1 was the goal away. Check. Home is 2-0. Not worried
  24. Of course a group rate is cheaper. That's the point. If you wanted to do this for yourself it's much more expensive and you would have to include the meals and ticket to the game. So this is cheaper for you the individual. But the services is not making a lot of money off of this. There's a lot of people that will have to get paid and more will have to volunteer initially. I'm not sure if they will make any money in the long run but they might. I would do it if I had the money because it sounds like it would be a blast. But unfortunately I do not have the excess funds to live like that. You guys could always buy me a ticket and I will report back on my experience. I think you all should do that.
