25-26 NHL Regular Season Thread
carpanfan96 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
IDK why anyone would trade for him, long term wise. You'd have this season and next, then he's almost assuredly going to NJ. If you're shooting for a cup and in a short window, sure. -
Just woke up... Svechnikov once more

It’s weird, but I don’t feel like the Panthers have a real rival present day. -
He's on the injury report so it's well known situation

I'm rooting for the stadium to implode midway through the fourth quarter. I still get to ignore my girlfriend because football is on until she goes to bed, both teams and their fans are wiped off the planet, and Panthers take the division. Win, Win, Win. -
Fưck the Buccaneers! This will be the one time I will refrain from rooting for the Falcons to fail spectacularly.

I really don't want that Seahawks game to matter so I'm pulling for everything I can grasp for. -

Is Pitts a go or not. He has been playing better. Without London they need everyone else. Time for Mooney to show up as well. -

It's past time for an exorcism with our previous perfomances against our most bitter rival. Anything less than a convincing win should be met with fierce scorn and ridicule. -
This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
Bear Hands replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
An interesting wrinkle to catchable balls.. Bryce has in fact jumped to #2 in deep-ball catchable rate, but is still #31 overall in pressure catchable ball rate, #23 in clean pocket catchable ball rate, and #32 in blitzed catchable ball rate. No matter the depth of field. Overall. #28 in clean pocket completion %. McMillan is also low as he's ranked #73 in rankable receivers in overall catchable balls...and he takes up a 26% team target share. Now here's the interesting note - McMillan's target share jumps crazy to 51.6% of our deep balls (Where Bryce's rate boosts to #2). It's telling me they do have a bit of a connection developing for the deeper throws. That seems just like a mutually beneficial situation happening. Good. Next step is you look at the volume, and yep, he's throwing likes a half of the classified deep balls as others. Sooooo...a stretch of deep completions bumps him up more impact-fully than others. Not discounting anything, there's progress, improvement on the deep ball, just good to know that context. Buuuut as noted, Bryce's rate is consistently still league floor for everything except deep ball where McMillan has over half the team targets. So he's improved with Tmac, which has bumped up his deep ball game. There's till big issues is his intermediate game and play outside against zone defense - that's the same/has never improved, always around #25-32 since year 1. So time to maintain the deep rhythm and keep proving more people wrong. Would be fun to see improvement and more wins. -
He's going to get more and more beat up until he's out. He's playing hurt

Tepper is learning… I like this version of him

Maybe by now he’s learned a bit to not meddle but he absolutely was not an average owner in the pre draft process with Bryce. He and Nicole were wayyy too hands on and meddling more than anyone except Jerry jones -

He non throwing shoulder is banged up for sure. One thing about him is he is a tough hombre. My brain and gut tell me that tampa will put on a clinic tonight in a get right game -
I think it's known he is hurt but how hurt is the question. It's a left shoulder injury from week 12.

Panther assistants tagged as potential future head coach
ForJimmy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe or maybe he gets paid more to be a DC here vs there. Plus the defense will be his baby vs Evero's wherever he goes. Definitely not uncommon to promote assistants when DCs or OCs leave. Canales will pretty much give him full control of the defense here like he does Evero. -
tonight has the trio in play. well, it's football. it's a division game. and it's TNF. which means I feel there is no way to predict what shows up on the TV tonight but I need Bijan to score me some big fantasy points

Wash isn't as heavily connected to Evero as the others. He's actually spent more time working with Canales then he has Evero. I know Reich pretty much let Evero hire whatever assistance he wanted but Wash might actually have been hired on Dom Capers recommendation (they'd worked together in Jacksonville). -
saints won last week vs the bucs. Falcons could too.

Most think he’s hurt. There’s been a drop off in performance since the San Fran game I want to say
