Am I the only one that remembers what happened on 9/30/01?

Drew Brees and Bryce Young have nothing in common other than Drew was a little bit taller. Other than that even when Brees was near the end he still had a better arm than Bryce Young. And Drew had a different physical build. In his prime it's not even close. Completely different players. It's the same with people saying early on Bryce was a smaller Russell Wilson. Completely different players physically. Both Brees and Wilson clearly regularly hit the weight room through their careers as well. Bryce Young has pretty much zero physical traits and he won't even try to put in some work in the weight room. Three years in a row he shows up looking exactly the same. People can talk about his frame and this and that and in some ways there is validity to it but let's be real there's no excuse for him not to even attempt given his aforementioned limitations. To not even try is the sign of someone who does not want to be great. Which is the complete opposite of what many people had him billed as before the draft. It's inexcusable.

This. I think this issue will be taken out of the hands of individual owners and become a major issue in the next round of CBA negotiations.

I've said this too many times to count, but just enjoying wins because we get them so infrequently is how shitty franchises continue to be shitty, because their fans are "just happy" when they get flawed wins. I'd rather lose but show improvement in key areas such as play calling and QB play than win and still struggle in those areas. Because until we improve in those areas, this team is going nowhere, so what is the fun in "enjoying" the 3-5 wins we get where we still don't look great while doing it? I want to make the playoffs again, we won't get there because we win fluky games, we'll get there because we've improved as a team. Show me improvement in a loss and I'll enjoy watching that game more than wins like this, because I care more about our long term high level success than shitty wins in lost seasons. You watched that game and enjoyed a win, I watched that game and saw why we're still going nowhere as a franchise in the foreseeable future but won in spite of that. It's been a decade since we've been decent, how are you not sick of "enjoying" those type of games?

Yeah I’m sure a Guns and Roses cover band playing for 4,000 people before a game will have huge implications on the playing surface.

Ferguson is going to cause us some problems, especially if Lamb is back. Don't see how we can cover Lamb, Pickens and Ferguson, especially in the middle of the field. Our LB deficiencies will show up big time.

I agree and we should leave no stone unturned in seeking actual competition in the QB room. I would say it should be a given and an automatic assumption that we will do that but sadly we cannot assume that will 100% be the case with the history of decisions by our brain trust.

Being a fan should be fun....we haven't had much fun in recent years....so why not just enjoy the team winning a damn game? Complaint threads after wins are weak....I'm just thrilled with every win we manage to secure, regardless of how we got it. Do we still have a ton of problems, yes we do. But the OP just seems to be digging a little too hard to find reasons to still be upset after a win. You'll be happier as a human being if you can just allow yourself to enjoy wins without dissecting them for deficiencies.

I've only ever seen Young make regulation NFL throws - which, yes, compared to what the average person can do are impressive, but he's never thrown a football with the type of velocity where I've thought "Damn, ok".

Charlotte FC attendence is over 33k per game. This does nothing for the field. Just gives another venue to drive revenue.

historically (2020+), cowboys seem to have our number. not too confident in a victory. their defense is very bad, but bryce young's tendency to make mistakes especially early on doesn't give me confidence, especially as their offense is quite good. if we fall behind early, we likely don't have an easy time coming back.

This is nothing. Just 4400 seats in the place means smaller venues can also use the property downtown. It does nothing to stop them from using the stadium for larger venues.
