it kills me when people say byoung is improving his qbr by year rankwd compared to all nfl qbs 29th 20th 27th this year. every single stat category outside of short td passes and rushing has been almost identical or a small drop this year. he had 2 games all year over 300yds and one of those was a game he played horrible in and the cards went full prevent for almost the entire remainder of the game. it would be diff if u saw 29th 25th 15th but no he is who he is a botttom 10% of the nfl startinf qbs

This year's projections seem a bid odd w/ off ball linebackers projected to go so early. Reese, Styles, CJ Allen and Anthony Hill all going first or first and early second would buck the history of the position. The tackles go about five deep. I think we have to figure out how to get an ILB and a tackle from those two groups with our first two picks. As several people have already mentioned, moving Moton to the left while our new tackle matures is an option.

I am looking at if I am Canales oholding a 6 year contract with 4 years left and just won the division and almost an upset in the playoffs, and has that stadium rocking… And you want me to give up my autonomy and likely demote or terminate my right hand guy… I would likely dig in my heels. You would have to push it hard. Too hard. You will have big time upset Apple cart. For me, I can’t see how Idzik is any better at it. We looked at that in preseason and IIRC people were bitching. Agree. He sold the farm for Bryce Young when everyone was saying the qb class the next year was full of talent. He can't admit the stupidity of that. Bears and Patriots are just rubbing it in. I'm a lot more pissed about that than taking Bryce over CJ.

IF canales were to give up play calling, it would most likely be internally with brad idzik who has no play calling experience whatsoever now IF canales were to bring an outside candidate to call plays, would they be open to calling plays with canales' playbook? most likely, the outside candidate would like to bring in his own playbook, schemes, verbiage, and terminology. which means Bryce and the rest of the offense would have to somewhat learn a new system

Bryce is on a better pace than Alex Smith was. If I remember correctly, Smith was the QB everyone was frustrated with until that 13-3 season. That was his Jay-Z year 7 if I'm correct. Just saying.
