The sad part is he actually gets open.
-
He’s not a great pass rusher, atleast not yet, but sheesh.. His motor and effort alone affects so many plays. Love how hard he plays. Has good instincts too. Whats the deal with Princley though? He can’t even get obvious pass down reps? Saw him loafing on a KOR. Should’ve had a roughing the punter call.. He needs to step it up. For him it starts at practice.

I'm sold on the NFL being fixed.

Rigging a game is hard. Influencing an outcome not so much. There have been calls made this year that have directly affected outcomes with no explanation where they came from. Look at earlier this year with the Lions/ Chiefs with an illegal motion call being made extremely late only after the TD had been scored. Also hard to ignore the study showing Chiefs receiving an unusually high amount of favorable penalty calls. Again, entertainment industry same as WWE. Good storylines are good for business. Technology has gotten so much better it's easier for fans to see. Goodell is also such a terrible liar and such an unlikeable asshat believing he's 100% above board is impossible after he preached the virtues of player safety while issuing a 25k fine to Aqib Talib after he said he tried to break Philly Brown's neck in SB 50. -
Love Scourton, he could a strong steady presence. We still need a premiere guy but Scourton can be a solid starter or elite depth.
-
Pretty sure there's no doubt now about Canales securing his third year.
-
That’s the key point. I hope he’s saving his money because I don’t see him getting any sizable second contract.
-
Teppers been in the locker room, which is fine. He's the owner. More important is that he doesn't look to be grabbing the spotlight anymore, like some other owners were today (this was Jerry after the Dallas game)
-
Not sure why this thread doesn't have more responses. Baker had some fake @ss whiny BS chip on his shoulder because of his time in Carolina. Looks like that well ran dry. He played like poo when he was here period.
-
He was so bad today. I’m not sure he’s going to make it in the league at this point. I’m not sure he’s even wants to.
-
The NFL absolutely rigs games for ratings. SB 50 and the Taylor Swift SB season are prime examples.
-
XL should be just about 0. Wiffed on blocks dropped a routine catch, no field awareness on another target. 1 catch for 11 yards. Dude stinks
-
It looked like on horn, he strained something trying to arm tackle the qb on his way by. Like pectoral or something like that. I hope not.
-
This team is nowhere near good enough to rest players for a week and have them lose their edge even the slightest.
-
Why did he not get any credit on that gang sack? I'll be honest, on the replays of it, I was only watching Horn to try and see what happened to him (which btw, have we heard?). But I could have sworn when watching live, he was the main guy to be wrapping Baker up on the play, no?

He did an interview it sounds like he is okay -
He’s coming along nicely.
-
Progression is what you want to see out of your rookies. He has shown that and very excited to see him make another step in the future and be a solid OLB for us going forward
-
Football IQ with the physicality and athleticism to match. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a captain on this team sooner than later.

If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways. Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner. While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.

Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.

Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
