Stick with day 2. Seems to me that first round centers don’t hit as much as taking the top Cs in round 2. Usually some combine great number(s) is the case and the 1st round C is over-drafted. We could have drafted McCoy, Humphrey or Frazier in the 2nd in the past several drafts over the crap we did take. Seems like that opportunity is every couple years and it’s been a couple years since Frazier. Not sure what the draft class for Cs looks like but I’d be happy with a C on day 2 if there are talented guys available. I don’t think it’ll be hard to upgrade C with a solid prospect.

I expect us to be very active in Free Agency and will address most of our positions of need there. Doing so gives us the opportunity to draft BPA. I do believe we will be in the position to get a solid ILB at 19.

This would be my take. If we could extend him through 27 or 28 it would help us a lot. I would also like to see more of Thorton. I know he's on IR but he has such a good training camp I can only believe he's only going to get better.

When a great center is available, drop the first rounder on them and don't sweat worrying over it. If you can lead your line, have someone call protections and protect the QB all in one, it's money well spent and can carry you for a decade or more. Is this that time for drafting? I really don't know.

I trust Tillis to correctly evaluate the market and player worth financially. It's easy to armchair QB. If we had a much higher grade on a RB in the 2nd than a center, then you follow your board.

Nice! I'm always open to 25-year old players from SB winning franchises that are stuck behind strong veterans.

I don't think we can afford to draft a third consecutive WR in the 1st round with our defensive needs. If we DO go offense for whatever reason, it needs to be a TE or OL.

I say bring in either Chenal or Bush in free agency and then draft another LB in the 1st or 2nd round.

He was more of a role player behind two studs in Bolton and Tranquill but managed to get more snaps in and impressed a lot. 1 injury in 4 years which closed him up in December. Definitely a guy who was touted early on looking to become a starter for a team. Good setup for us. And him, Turk and Tillis overlapped/should know each other. Could be a pulling factor, who knows.

I can agree that relying on things beyond our control when we had the capacity to firmly establish our own hold on the division at a time when the division has been at it's lowest point in many years is mediocrity at absolute best. And a small group of people trying to awkwardly use the opportunity to dunk on anyone applying legitimate realistic skepticism of the circumstances is borderline cult like. Overall there seems to be an even split of glass half full glass half empty sentiment within the fanbase. I'm teetering between both until I see how we navigate the draft and FA. If we land a solid draft class and solid FA class and actually strengthen the QB room I'll be quite optimistic of our outlook going forward. But as any long time fan of this this franchise knows full well seeing is indeed believing. No benefit of the doubt for anyone involved has been earned yet.
