  1. Past hour
  2. Well, I mean, if he just hit the line and produced two yards a carry that'd be a problem. Like Mike.
  3. And of course I had to poo this. It’s an online message board. It ain’t that deep, it’s supposed to be fun. We’re supposed to banter, we’re supposed to have nemeses. And when it comes to petty misguided radicals like yourself I’ll poo you every time and buy you a drink in person.
  4. Sounds like a better coach would properly sub his players and overrule a ball hog. But you know Rhule was an all time candy ass.
  5. Rivera has never had a winning season anywhere without Cam Newton and Cam Newton would have made the playoffs in NE if not for Covid.
  6. I think they’re called ‘coaches’. Many (not all) were players, themselves. Having both veteran players and coaches that can pass that knowledge on to younger players is the ideal. Thielen did that well from the limited anecdotal evidence we read and the recent Coker interview. If Renfrow can be brought back onto the active 53, he can fill that role, too. If not, we’ll just have to rely on Moore, Idzik and Canales.
  7. There’s a reason this guy bounced around the league and his career ultimately sputtered into nothingness.
  8. Hooker still seems to be the same QB he was in college. Super slow to process. Accuracy issues. It would take a miracle for him to become a dependable backup at this point given his age
  9. what I took most from that interview in general….is I don’t think I would actually like Mike Davis. at one point the hosts on the show basically called him out that he dislikes everyone Mike Davis actually seems like the bad teammate who seemed genuinely confused about why he would need to do basic work if he had played well
  10. Today
  11. Totally missed Mike Vick somehow becoming a college head coach
  12. Once the offense really gets in sync I think they are going to score a lot of points this year. Even in the first half they had opportunities to break the game open and just missed it. The D on the other hand needs some work which surprised me.
  13. Bryce Perkins is 28. On what basis are people 27 years old unable to learn?
  14. Keeping Dalton and then shiping off AT with that WR room is just backwards IMO. As for throwing Young to the wolves, well that was happening anyways. There just aren't any more excuses that can be made there. Then there is building around Evero which was an extreamly stupid approach this year. I know people here try to project a switch to 4-3 but that's just cope to me. He has showed mostly meh with bad outweighing any good. Loved the player but he isn't very good as a GM.
  15. Agreed. Hes supremely talented but that will still mean we used a 2nd on a guy that is halfway into a rookie deal before we get to use him. And then what? A second contract for a rb is typically a bad move. Its just a low probability move all the way around. May work this time, but its not the smart play generally.
  16. Hopefully, you’ll be taking this back next season.
  17. Better than drafting a guy with a collapsed knee.....IN THE SECOND FUGING ROUND!
  18. Of course, but not winning the Super Bowl doesn’t automatically make this a poor deal. If Parsons wins DPOTY each of the next four years, I wouldn’t view the contract as a failure. To me, there are two ways this contract isn’t a massive failure: 1) win a Super Bowl 2) Parsons is the most dominant defensive player over the next 4 years
  19. If you think you have your franchise QB and the Packers clearly believe they do this was a good trade to make for them 2 1sts and washed Kenny Clark for a bonafide hall of famer entering his prime If our FO truly believe Bryce was 100% that guy then this was a move we should’ve made. Micah Parsons is as special as it gets on the defensive side of the ball
  20. Damned typos. That used to rarely happen before the age of the Internet. I should probably give it five minutes after awakening from my slumber. poo, that won't probably help either.
  21. Meh. Some guys are three-down backs. Hell, that's really how it always used to be. CMC was a special back (when he was on the field). Ironically his body has afforded others plenty of playing time, no matter how "selfish"of can he was/is.
  22. Great, with those 1st round picks, watch the Cowboys draft the next Micah Parsons.
  23. There’s no way it will work out, it never does. See: Deshaun Watson and, going a little further back for a better comparison, Khalil Mack. Super Bowl teams aren’t built on a huge free agency splash signings. This will be more of a distraction than anything else. Unless it’s a multiple SB winning QB (and there’s only one of those right now) no one player is worth this kind of capital to acquire.
  24. Hmmm... Maybe he is right, but just reading your comment (I didn't listen to the podcast) makes it sound like Davis is upset he didn't touch the ball. Honestly, our coaching staff relied on CMC so much his last two to three years, it may not have only been CMC wanting to stay on. And while getting the ball six times in a row can be unusual, CMC was the rare player that was both the best running back and receiver on the team... I just think that speaks to CMC wanting to win and knowing that he was the best offensive player on the field for us. I still envision a parallel universe where Stanford didn't run CMC into the ground and he stays healthy for us his entire time playing for us.
  25. Yeah.. I felt like he looked 80 years old like 30 years ago... Dude has aged terribly and I feel like he has to be pretty close to death's doorstep
