  1. Past hour
  2. Trying to figure out his value this offseason is going to be tough for us or any other team. His agent knows RBs in their late 20s are in low demand due to eventual fall off in production and injury risks so he’s going to get every dollar he can for his client.
  3. Looks like Mays will be our C this week, ain't no one really shining as a TE yet, the XL thing may just be the old adage that you never see the real WR until the third season. And I'm not saying he's anti-Bryce, but just that he's a realist. Working with what he has. And a lot of the decisions as to who gets playing time are made based on stuff you and I will never see, because it's behind the scenes. Time will tell, but in the meantime, what a curious season this has been and one with more opportunity than we've seen in a while. I plan on enjoying the roller coaster ride for what it is and I'm looking forward to next season as well. I've said it before, and it bears repeating, something's being built here and it looks like it might be good if we're patient.
  4. Go to 15:10 they have chapters in the description. Greg Cosell speaks for me. For many of us. Same stuff I have said for 3 seasons now. The supporters argue like hell against this when I say it. Here is pro analyst saying it, leave him turd pile.
  5. Jonathan Stewart said on his podcast this week that things are different for division game week in terms of rest for key players. Hopefully that is the major factor.
  6. and here we go Kyle Brandt said yesterday "theres talk of an extension of some kind on the horizon" What that means I dont know but it cant be good
  7. I hope he’s ok. It looked like he was hurt this week. I hope he can play vs the Saints.
  8. The Broncos are the weirdest team in the league. They're sitting at 8-2 but every game I've seen of theirs the takeaway is basically "Like yeah, they won. But damn they pretty much suck." LOL
  9. Teddy Bridgewater had three 1000 yard receivers that has never been done in Panthers history outside of that, he was better than any Qb on that list not named Newton, Delhomme, Collins, Beuerlein. 1.Newton - MVP, Superbowl 2015 2.Delhomme - Most successful tenure, Superbowl 2003, NFC championship loss 2005. 3.Collins - 2nd year starter led us to NFC Championship 1996. 4.Beuerlein - Best pure passer, single season leader in pass yards. 5.Bridgewater- Highest QB completion 69.1 % in franchise history for a season.
  10. I am not convinced he is as anti-Bryce as we believe. I realize the benching last year makes it seem possible he has been over Bryce buuuut....he's also the same dude that makes pretty terrible other personnel decisions, as well. Corbett over Mays at C, Sanders over Evans at TE, XL over just about anyone on the roster at WR, etc, etc.
  11. I would make signings like this every season before extending or using any significant draft capital
  12. I would take that over what we have
  13. Wins aren’t a QB stat. Bryce is incredibly inconsistent and unreliable. His range is from terrible to decent, who knows which end of the spectrum you’re getting on any given play. He lacks the accuracy and arm strength to be a playmaker and lack the decision making, ball security and pocket awareness to be a game manager. At this point he’s simply a bad QB. Maybe, hopefully, he can evolve into a game manager because those are the traits that can be more easily corrected. But time is running out.
  14. I think our low football IQ owner is more likely to be fooled by Bryce's recent successes than even some of the most ardent Bryce stans here.
  15. I agree whole-heartedly. Or perhaps Canales has already made his decision about the future and he's just minimalizing Bryce because, well, that's the only option. It's not like we can promote Dalton to starter (he's just spent), we don't have anyone else on the bench for real and we are past the trade deadline. And the few free agents that are out there are rusty and unreliable at this point. After writing that, I'm pretty sure that Canales has a change at QB already in his plans for next season. It would take miraculous play from Bryce to change that at this point.
  16. Thursday night games tend to be sloppy. There's no demand for them from the players or fans, but here we are.
  17. Both teams had more penalties than they had first downs. First time that's happened since 1976. Yeah, it was truly a historically terrible football game.
  18. This all seems so familiar.....
  19. Yep. He and Fitts beat the drum on "QB on a rookie contract is the key to success" so hard that not picking up his option is an outright admission of a huge blunder.
  20. Miller's back but Chatty missed the rest of the game so most of the game no Chatfield Slavin or Ghostbere
  21. These numbers are coming from the same source. Likely NFL NGS. PFR uses the same data for Bad Throw and On Target percentages. The only thing those fantasy sites do is actually pay others for the data. I think the only one that does real data for itself is whomever purchased the DVOA website.
  22. Everything this guy does is AI and you all just keep responding to him. Unreal.
  23. Fantasy sites often talk fantasy. We have seen their numbers dismantled before. The fantasy football folks have some crazy views on “accurate” balls. They log really bad throws as accurate. Bryce barely throws downfield. Go post the volume of those throws and production off them lol
  24. I'm enjoying the wins and envisioning the potential with a solid QB.
