  2. Sure but the frame was frail. I think he got up to 235 and then back to 228ish.

  5. I feel much better about this draft than I did after last year's draft. I'm not sure if it's because I went into this draft with a different mindset than I have in previous years or it's because read their draft guide and I could put each pick into a perspective but I don't think so. Every year there are always players that I really don't feel enthusiastic about. Usually is the super athletic guys that get drafted because they won the underwear Olympics but we didn0t do that this time. Each player has performed well on the field at something that we need. I like that approach. Most guys won't become elite players but we don't need that. We just need player who are really good at these different things but that don't have to be the same player. When we want to rush from this side we use the player who does that well. Then on the next play we want to stop the run on this side so we play better than average level and not try to find the players who maybe can do everything we every pick. It's the the RB by committee approach but at other positions and it makes sense IF you have the depth to do it. How do you get the depth to do it? By drafting players who you are sure can do at least 1 of these things at a high level.
  6. Crazy, Steve Smith just said on his draft recap that talking to coaches on the team.. that T-Mac was a surprise to them because the talk earlier that day was defense first and not T-Mac.
  7. its gonna be a chippy 3rd in Washington now. Habs have nothing to lose here.

  9. Not totally inaccurate, haha Except that kid wasn't as excited as I was. I was yelling louder, and more, and running around the room in circles until I almost passed out from exhausting and was trying to catch my breath for a good 10 minutes because I'm way too old to be doing that, LOLOL Oh, and I tweaked a muscle in my shoulder from all the punching the air I was doing too. For as awesome as that pick was for me, it really screwed me up for a few days between my shoulder and lost voice (Wrexham securing back-to-back-to-back promotions Saturday afternoon contributed to that though too).
  10. Getting Pierce jr isn’t forfeiting the pick they just had 2 1sts this year.
  11. Full disclosure and the real reason.... I'll be seeing my Nephew in basically one month from today, and while I've gotten him stuff from my other teams the past year, I hadn't been willing to saddle him with Panthers stuff yet, that's now changed lol. So if the jersey would get to me before I see him, I'd get that and him his first Panthers onesie/shirt so I can get a picture of us together in them. If it wouldn't get to me by then, I'd just wait to get the one I prefer. So yea, my rush is really just about trying to get a picture of myself in it with my Nephew in Panthers gear too.

  13. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-add-mapalo-mwansa-through-international-player-pathway CHARLOTTE — Mapalo "Maz" Mwansa has achieved a dream he didn't even know he had until recently. If you google his name, one of the first results is for his LinkedIn page for his accounting job—well, his former accounting job. The defensive end was signed by the Carolina Panthers this week through the NFL's International Player Pathway program.
  14. Gotta get them before the tariffs hit
  15. Shaq was supposed to be TD's successor as an 4-3 outside linebacker next to Luke
  16. Just wait. Why the hurry? Every draft pick jersey across the league is in pre order status. With as much as you love him just get the other color too when it becomes available
  17. He was seated right next to Morgan, looked to be in the thick of things when picks were being made, and I even saw him dialing the number for at least one guy we were drafting. If this draft works out, we may have a new process of selecting players. Analytics like Eager's may change how scouting is done (or what is asked of scouts) in the future. Data processes the player, scouts may analyze the person.
  18. I need Caps and Panthers to win for my bet. So at least one of those won’t happen.
  19. TB just tied Flahda 2-2. I want the panthies and Craps to go to a game 6.
  20. Yea, they've "confirmed the number" but that is a generic disclaimer they use, it doesn't mean the jerseys will be shipped out in 2-4 weeks from now already (it also doesn't mean they won't either). My guess is they'll start being shipped out a week or two after they start being sold in the team store, I can't see them shipping pre-orders before the store has them. So if they're not in the store yet despite them confirming his number like 3-4 days ago already, then I wasn't going to order it yet as the blues and/or better version may become available by then, which is what I'd prefer. As I'd be kinda frustrated if I bought the black on pre-order now, and then in a few weeks when they still haven't shipped yet, they then start selling the blues and/or better quality versions of them and those ship out all at the same time anyways.

  22. during the draft I had concerns....after the draft and reading about our picks, I feel very good. There was a lot of love for our draft this year, and we're not used to that. Last year was not so much but if Legette grows, and if Brooks can get healthy and stay that way, and Sanders develops, it was a good draft. But I just feel different this year, more confidence than ever, but it's that time of the year....every fan of every time is feeling better about who they pull for. That said, I'm liking Morgan a lot right now. It won't be hard for him to become our best GM ever....low bar. But he can set it higher.
  23. Even though he's been injured the last 2 seasons, he was still a starter for 8 years. He had a pretty productive career for a guy that never made any pro bowls. I wouldn't say his career was cut short.
