  2. I'd love to draft a replacement. He can start at LT until Ickey returns and then they can compete for the right and left spots. Moton is getting up there in age.
  3. I watched Dan’s press conference. He said he wouldn’t be reckless but I was messing around on Sport Trac. We have 40,000,000 already without restructuring. Just a few restructures double that figure easily. I think he’s about to go on a spending spree. You can’t go backwards with Tepper. You can stay the same and be okay but I don’t think you can go back to 4-5 wins this year and expect not to get fired or have a seat that’s burning your ass.
  4. Trubisky is available. Bills fans seem to think he will leave. Wouldn’t mind having him as a back up option. Looks like Drew Allan’s injury pushed him all the way down to rounds 5-7 which would be a hell of a bargain to develop.
  5. These are difficult, costly roles for Tepper to fill given his reputation and so far Bryce has done the worst job of them all. I'm not buying that Mr. Analytics is hinging the whole front office on some gut feeling about Bryce's potential. Nonsensical narrative from a fanbase still mad he meddled with the pick.
  6. We're not in a position to sweep the room clear. We've clearly improved as a team under Morgan / Canales / Evero. They're just hamstrung by Young's poor play and the Draft picks they lost acquiring him. If Tepper expects a quick turn around after the crater Fitterer left us in then he's a fool.
  7. I don't see an NFL starter in Beck. He's an absolute dawg, but you're always waiting for the next mistake with him and his deep ball is mediocre.
  8. There's a lot of decent oc out of a job right now, I hope someone in the office at least brings in a few to interview.
  9. Anyone seeing the Ravens owner interview, dude sounds like a real douche bag. It's a wonder how Harbough stayed so long.
  10. You realise giving Brady, Brees, Manning 38 seconds and 3 TOs used to be a death sentence, right? Now I know they're all Hall of Famers, but they got the same treatment Young has received - no viable backup, it's your ship to steer, loads of investment in talent around them.
  11. Well besides paying Young $27m for replacement level play of course. There's nothing wrong with the coaching staff and the roster very much is a rebuild in process. It's still not an attractive proposition for a Head Coach with this meddling owner in charge.
  12. I mean Reich literally quiet quit when they drafted Young. You could see the light go out of his eyes. The highly respected NFL HC (and original Panther!) was fired mid-season because he knew he couldn't win with Young. Any self-respecting franchise would have seen his play and pivoted, moving on from Young that year, but no we continue to trot him out there with no competition. It's maddening.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if he's done. Move to Mexico and just go fishing or something.
  14. Don't worry guys, I'm sure Bryce will come back better than ever in year 4, after his typical offseason regimen of binging Netflix, playing video games and hanging at the mall with his buddies.
  15. Panthers will be sitting there on draft day with the next Mahomes on the board... pass on him, then turn around and give Bryce an extension
  16. The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market. On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size. TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
  17. I don’t think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
  18. in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft . this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint ...just saying
  19. We have no evidence that Canales is a forward thinker who is willing to make uncomfortable decisions for the betterment of the team. He seems very non confrontational, those types of people won’t make changes unless forced to. Dan Morgan is the same mold as Canales. Which means if changes are made, it’ll only come from one man. That man is David Tepper. But it most likely won’t be until next season.
  20. If you bring in an OC to call plays and he's a stud he will be gone in 1 year and you are right back where you started (over and over again).
