  1. Past hour
  2. That is a fairly frequent byproduct of teams run by offensive minds. I guess I’m profiling or something but that is my experience. You are taking that risk. All this fancy offense wins SBs sometimes but you look at Marino, Fouts, guys like that. Plenty didn’t. Great QBs but no championships.
  3. I have on Huddle authority that passing yards are the best metric to measure QBs by. Oh, and wins are exclusively a QB stat (especially in the postseason).
  4. A crazy stat is that the Charlotte metro area is projected to have the same population as the Boston metro area in 25 years.
  5. Seems like there are two main perspectives weighing in. Watching, and having to play/compete against him. If you have to play against him Sunday, what does it matter that he did violence on Thursday? Or if he isn’t a suitable role model…. I watched NFL when Don Merideth QB’d the Cowboys. Way before MNF. Dan Reeves I think was a backup. I saw ‘The Heidi Game’ live on my little B&W 13” TV when I was a kid. No kidding. And you know, much more. I can’t say I have really seen anyone like Smitty. I love those other 3 too. There isn’t another Cam, I think there are other maybe Peps - athletic freaks with size and speed. And there have been probably a couple of Lukes or close. Heady super talented and motivated defensive QBs - which Luke was. But I love that guy, He is HOF in my book. There were guys that were similar to Smitty I thought Andre Rison had some of it but he flamed out. There are others that I maybe am not recalling. But Smitty took stuff to a new level. Like when he came back to BOA as a Raven. He just destroyed people. Sorry for the long winded drunk post.
  6. Well there you have it. 15 game win streak starting this Sunday.
  7. Today
  8. People aren’t wrong on posters here having very strong prospect evaluation skills. At the same time people went nuts for Bryce Young. Okay but anyhow we look at overall stuff and what impresses me is the people that know the deeper prospects. I used to spend time studying and they’d trade the pick. After a while I said screw it not putting my time into that. People here immediately bitched about DJ Johnson for instance. 3rd round I think. And they were freaking right. I’m not sure I’d have figured that out. Other examples exist.
  9. I mean we were basically bottom of the league with Burns... He wasn't worth what he wanted and he's showing it.
  10. Yeah it went way over my head you’re right .
  11. This team can’t do anything right at the moment . I don’t have the solution.
  12. i find it halarious that most of you are so fat you can't even wipe your own ass properly yet you guys are hypercritical
  13. This is what happens when you rank QBs by passing stats outside of context of a game, lol
  14. I genuinely can’t figure out how or why they’re ranked like this Each level has players that don’t have anything in common, so even though I know it’s not some serious rankings, I still can’t figure out what these are based on lol EDIT: I’m and idiot, never saw the “Week 2” there, this is a ranking of how they played in week 2 vs 1. Okay, makes more sense, but yea, no way you can have Bryce in “above average”
  15. XL doesn’t care about football
  16. It's a little concerning that he can't catch on anywhere. Indy couldn't get him out of town fast enough.
  17. I don’t know. I think if Bryce doesn’t work out, which seems to be the way things are heading- I don’t see us drafting a QB. We should but we won’t because Canales and Morgan will be on year 3 and panicking. So the year we shouldn’t have drafted a QB we did and the year we should, we won’t IMO. If we go the vet route, assuming Morgan and Canales are still here, I see three options. 1) Drew Lock- can totally see them taking a Jake Delhomme style approach with it like they did in 03 and he has a little overlap with Canales. 2) Carson Wentz- I can see Kevin O’ Connell reshaping him a little bit. He has spent some time with him, Mahomes/Reid, and Stafford/McVay the last few years and may have refined himself a bit. Plus, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him outperform McCarthy at times this year but get the boot because they are invested in JJ. 3) Davis Mills- Considered one of the better back ups in the league. Big guy, big arm, very football smart.
  18. Yeah, LA has supported the NFL so well in the past that the Rams and Raiders both left in the '90s.
