  1. Past hour
  2. I think that's what we do in the 1st round next year.
  3. If he stays healthy he should get it. I mean 825 yards over 17 games is averaging less than 50 yards per game. Even if we rotate more at RB I would still expect him to probably account for 60% or so of the non-QB carries (he accounted for nearly 70% last year).
  4. I don’t expect Hubbard to eclipse his play from last year. Glad he got paid. Hopefully he can stay healthy and dependable. You always need someone waiting in the wings.
  5. Kind of bizarre Hubbard is already on the cusp of surpassing McCaffrey considering how comically overused he was at times here. As much as I'd like to see Hubbard get over 4k this season the priority should be offensive versatility. We have a nice RB room and it's a long season. Spread the ball around.
  6. Thought this is pretty interesting - time can be a tricky one - it's crazy to really see the all-time Panthers rushing list. You don't expect much in a 30ish year history (not saying this is impressive), but Chuba has quietly working his way up. 1) 7,318 yards - J Stew 2) 6,846 yards - DeAngelo Williams 3) 5,036 - Cam Newton this is where it gets interesting: 4) 3,980 - CMC 5) 3,336 - Deshaun Foster *6) 3,175 - Chuba Hubbard If Chuba has a healthy season, we should expect him to easily climb into #4 on the all-time Panthers list. I don't know for others, but Foster & CMC seemed like they were here longer than they were (or maybe they just played in more impressionable seasons and injury stints made the playing time seem longer). I know it's not some impressive history or anything but a fun thing to note. Also, if we make strides as a team, and he follows up with another strong year, he's probably got 2-3 more in him as he turns 26 next week. Some questions: Does another solid year cement him as our guy at RB? I prefer to keep taking late round stabs as you can cycle RBs, but he could prove to be a top RB this year. I expect Rico & Etienne to help spell him, but he's our RB1 no doubt. If we flirt with our first playoff berth in years, could a top-10 RB type season put him on the map as a more revered Panther? He will be touching the ball the second most after Bryce this season, so it's not unrealistic to view him as our top skill position player (pending McMillan's hopeful rise as WR1). It would be fun to see this actualize and make his mark more widely in the league. Overall, just adding some perspective. When you think of eras of Panthers teams, you usually think of a few guys. And if we can finally crawl back to relevance, maybe Chuba is a guy we think of helped us get out of the rut rather than just being one of many that lived here in the cellar.
  7. It's beautiful. Hoping that whoever the team ends up starting at RT + C in the 2026 season are monsters on rookie deals.
  8. Today
  9. I can think of no better place to spend the money.
  10. I'm 100% on the Edmonton train. Fk Florida.
  11. Boy this is a @TheSpecialJuan thread if there ever was.
  12. Maybe so. I don’t think I’d trade our WR room for theirs, but there’s so much unknown with our group.
  13. It's all about hope man. He gives you a chance at a lot of distances, and you always hope you can figure it all out and be automatic from anywhere. I am also a ginger and support my people. If he's our kicker, in Madden, the accuracy is up to me. I can't control leg power. My reasons may be silly, but you asked.
  14. It's all good... dont you know we're in Year 7 of this masterpiece now??!!!.. even by Rhule's standards this should be our year... /s
  15. Truthfully, the canes are so strong on defense is because of the system. It makes forwards play 200 feet. Offense and Defense. While I agree I hope they open it up, I doubt that will ever happen.
  16. Have we ever had a draft trade up work out under Tepper?
  17. Yeah he really thought he was that guy. The Panthers? Not so much.
  18. Long range ability is already an upgrade over Pinero. But he's been on 6 teams in 5 years. I don't expect he's going to suddenly lock down the position for us for several years. Probably another situation like all our kickers the last few years. Brief high then back down to Earth.
  19. Looking at Wright's stats I'm kinda surprised why this guy has never stuck. He's an 87% FG kicker and he's 7/11 from 50+ with a 56 and two 59 yards. This guy beating out Fitzgerald doesn't seem like the end of the world.
  20. MVP is Slavin for every game we should have lost because he singlehandedly stopped several good chances by himself lol. If we don't have a different system in place next season which allows for more consistent threats of scoring, I've lost all hope. We're strong as hell defensively because of our system and the concept of wearing the opponent out until they make a mistake isn't a bad strategy to implement...it just can't be the only thing you do. The amount of cross crease passes that led to goals that Florida got on us and the fact that we seldom if ever get similar chances is telling.
  21. I’m positive you have no problems with it. My post was about my own view of the situation.
