  1. Past hour
  2. That gif of him staring down and mouthing off to one of the pats players that bumped him after I think that bomb to Mohammed in the super bowl is legendary. You have to have that attitude and leadership from your QB and Bryce just doesn't have it.
  3. It's by design. No serious competition was brought in for Bryce because if they could step in and actually perform with the same pieces where Bryce hasn't there's no denying the obvious.
  4. I would officially be out. Watching him for the past couple of years has been soul sucking.
  5. Still think Moore might be the best based on the small sample size. Indiana and Oregon should play each other so that could be interesting. Sellers probably has the highest ceiling but he will need time and I feel like he is a prime candidate to get rushed out and ruined early in his career.
  6. Primeau looked better than the last version of Kochetkov we saw.
  7. Rags lost bad to start the season. Couldn’t be happier
  8. Today
  9. You'd be asking for a refund if you spent a fifth rounder on him, nevermind three firsts.
  10. Get ready brother, feels like the team is feeding the media that bryce is the guy moving forward
  11. If they do, and as of right now I hope they don’t, maybe they can make is very team friendly. Where there is an out after 2 years. Kinda like what the Giants did when they extended Daniel Jones.
  12. You're goddamn right about that. He's overcome being 5'10", 180lbs with a noodle arm all his life. Alas he's not been able to overcome those shortcomings at the NFL level.
  13. Both were heroes, just of different recipes. We've got to celebrate both!
  14. The feeling of surprise when he hits 200 yards should not be felt this frequently 3 years into his career.
  15. This is exactly the crux of it. You don't spend a #1 overall on a player that requires perfection around him to play even decent football, and then when that lack of elevating ability is confirmed you don't continue down that path.
  16. This. The Panthers paid up big time to get the number one pick. We gambled and lost by selecting a unicorn; mistake number one. Now the team is so over committed to shaping a Bryce-friendly roster, just to justify the original decision to trade up and draft him; mistake number two. The Panthers brain trust will now double down on the above by signing him to a new plus size contract next year? If he hasn’t proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is a franchise QB by now, how can they possibly throw even more money at this experiment? Will some adult in the room please explain the concept of ‘sunk cost’ to Tepper? Absent ego, cut your loss and move on.
  17. twitter and facebook panther fans have the worse takes they are die hard ride or die bryce fans and seem less so panther fans
  18. I shudder to think of even a Brock Purdy sized investment into Bryce. That would cripple the franchise for years.
  19. The investment in him has been massive when you look at the support investments along with the assets directly invested in him. Without mentioning that the rest of the team had to adapt to two head coaches in two years. As Parcels said about walking on water, his feet are wet. But I wonder what the bar is for a 250 million dollar deal. It has been a low bar to this point. It is scary.
  20. Well I haven’t looked but it could be like our WR, lots of rookie deals. I bet the hate that comes back for dissenting over there would be daunting. As far as the Ravens OL, I mean when you have to pay your QB like that what can you do? If I were a QB that wanted to win and stay healthy I’d be willing to ‘get by’ on 35 million a year to keep the OL talent level up.
  21. Mike and Alex from the Observer had a pretty good discussion about Bryce in the most recent Processing Blue podcast they did. I listened to it on the way in this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s6A012S6vA&t=984s Bryce will give you 5 or so "wow plays" versus 5 or so "WTF plays." There's just a nuance to any discussion of Bryce. There's a lot to be made of his physical limitations and his mental errors. No matter what, Bryce is just so polarizing. Personally - I still think Bryce is going to have to prove it this year. Can he prove to us that he's the franchise? I don't know. He's going to have to play better and elevate the team. We haven't seen that yet. Let's let him develop. It will lead us to a top 10 pick or a more competitive team.
  22. Just saw on Twitter a panthers fan share Youngs fourth down throw to horn and say Hurts could never make that throw. I’m not saying hurts is all world or anything but comparing the two is baffling
  23. I actually don't think the team is terrible outside of Young. Not good by any means, but not bottom of the NFL bad either. Young, however, pulls them down to that level. It is unfortunate there is no one on the roster as a viable alternative to Young.
  24. “This isn't exactly the first time” You realize I/we have nothing to do with this, right? This is a longtime fan upset because they were wrongly told to remove their gameday tradition of 22 years.
