popped myu 26 draft cherry. In mid-season form and I will stand on this for AWHILE... Short sum- Its a dream BPA that fell that way 1-4. Then I went full upside/shoot for stars in rounds 5-6. Cole maybe the best QB in draft after the top gun, 6-6 LB that if he can hold up= playmaker. Coogan just a dart for a future C that's ND and played in different systems. Taafle was the clear BPA, I wanted to draft a LB or even C. But BPA were rounds 1-4 headed by Francis whom will not be there. Klare is the second ranked TE on a few boards, I could not pass that. I feel this bares 3 starters in rounds 1-4 and the remaining 4 are nuclear upside picks that could be starters and dare say difference makers in a couple years.

With lamelo on the court, the Hornets this season so far avg 124.4 pts per 100. Which would be the best offense in NBA history. When he's off the court, they avg 112.. which would rank 27th for this season. He might not be the best player and that's ok but he's 100% absolutely the engine that allows everyone around him to work. -

But, why? Lonzo is done, how will he make this team better? Do we need yet another injury risk? -

I mean unless Dan Morgan can pull off a miracle, it will almost certainly be a weak position for us next year. Really not a whole lot we can do to be honest. -
Thats true and you have a point but us being an 8 win team and still needing a lot of pieces it kindof narrows the margins of the draft picking at the back half. To me this draft will define Morgan and co. 1 of the worst of all time followed by a really solid one lets see what he delivers in April

There have been Super Bowls where someone could say a single play might have lost the game. But "the fumble" in SB50 is not even remotely an example of such an instance. It's knuckledragger mentality to suggest so. I would argue the team seemingly getting caught up in the limelight of the week leading up to the game itself and the glaring stubborn lack of adjustments doomed the 2015 Panthers. The league itself and the refs also clearly did not want the Panthers winning either. People just have to reconcile with that and the result. It's been a decade now.

Daniel Jeremiah 2026 NFL mock draft 1.0
PantherChris replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He can't see deep down the middle but the # of short middle throws counter that hence big target over the middle -
Am I? Maybe I’m just using a little more logic than blaming one play against the player carrying our offense? 13 Qb hits and 6 sacks, this isn’t including the pressures Cam avoided getting hit with his legs. Do you think that MAYBE those 13 plus plays affected the game more than a fumbled (caused by pressure) that wasn’t recovered by our QB? What’s Ron’s record without Cam as his primary QB? 26-40-1. Yeah Cam’s play was the issue, not Ron…

He can't see the middle of the field, so a TE is his worst nightmare. We don't throw almost exclusively outside the hashes for no reason. -
I think 2 will. Mesidor will be a 25 year old rookie.

Lol ironically given his "strengths" a TE should be his favorite target. It's a Dave thing not a Bryce thing imo -

Jaren Jackson Jr to the Jazz. He's got to be hating life now. Goes from a down trodden franchise in a city where you can at least enjoy yourself, to a down trodden franchise in the least fun location in the NBA. Wonder if the Hornet's inquired about him. Jazz got him for next to nothing. -
I mean your making my point. We love to make definitive statements, like "RR was a bad coach" or "Cam cost us the Superbowl" when really there is much more to that.

Looks like a trade for Lonzo Ball might be in the works. Supposedly for 2nd rd picks https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25385856-fresh-nba-trade-rumors-lonzo-ball-joining-lamelo-hornets-amid-james-harden-darius-garland-buzz -
I will never blame our loss on Cam, allegedly, not jumping on a fumble. Our offense had more issues than him. Heck our defense missed an easy INT at the start of the game that would have set us up in the good field position. Our offense was, surprisingly, not that bad in the game. We moved the ball well, but we just kept shooting ourselves in the foot when we got rolling. Kinda reminds me of the Rams and Packers game. Two teams that lost to us because they kept making mistakes not because our defense could stop them. We beat ourselves in Super Bowl 50.

I doubt you trade back and get Freeling. These draft boards are largely built during the season. Not many expected Freeling to come out and he only has 16 starts. Tons of buzz this week and is only going to skyrocket from here. Once these ranking get finalized after the combine and PRO days I think he’s the 3rd OT picked after Mauigoa and Fano, may even supplant Fano.

Well. Im glad for ole Charlie Brown gotta say he had two of the worst coaching and franchise situations in a long time Despite making him cry on the sidelines, he has had nothing but good things to say about the fans and charlotte. How, i dont know i wasn’t particularly kind to him either. He was so broken, painful to watch good for Charlie.
