Stuff is way out of hand. The money is too much. Way too much. The coaches also are paid way too much. Greed. They could scale everything back and make less money and let the people have a better deal on stuff.
-
I read that whole thing then saw who wrote it. Not sure you would ever put any loss on him.

Where is Bryce in this picture? I don't see him ETA: I see him in the front on the Right
-
And Stroud ended the year on a horrible note, with 10-12 turnovers in his last five games. Just goes to show that unless you have one of the truly elite qb's (and there are maybe 3-4 of those in the entire league, you have to have the right combination of talent around the qb, and the right coaching staff to truly know what you have.

i agree the entire teams are not scripted but i do feel gambling is very much in each game and i really do believe some refs are calling penalties to influence outcomes of games based off of outside gambling influences
-
I always believed in you Sam, even when people made fun of me for defending you :’)

Eric Rivers (GT WR) is eye catching -
Yea at some point the madness has to end. Miami is going to end up paying over 10 million to steal Dukes QB. Contracts mean nothing, these NIL deals mean nothing, the blue bloods will continue to have the most money in college football to steal other players and it’s sad the game has come to this. I was all for NIL but there has to be some ground rules and no one is setting them.
-
Oh…someone sounds jelly, at this point I can see ya boy Bill going for that sponsorship for his college aged GF, right along with the gold digger trademark. LOL! Don’t hate appreciate!
-
Don’t forget about the current packers QB. The flip side is teams see QBs like Stroud, Williams, Maye, Nix and others taking their teams to the playoffs in year 1 or 2, it’s a crap shoot
-
He is obviously kith and kin to Darnnald LaFell

REPORT: Cade Mays will hit the free-agent market

We still don’t have players on the defensive side of the ball, we are hurting bad there, I really can’t believe how good they were on D with the players they have, we can’t keep drafting offense and ignore the D. I’ve watched these playoffs games, again this year because it’s the same every year, D wins super bowls. Letting Mayes walk is a mistake, get young defensive guys on rookie contracts. -
Did Sam Donald win the lottery or something. If you mean the Seahawks qb, don't give a crap about him one way or the other. I just hope the Tarheel loses. It is amusing how so many on this board hated Darnold, and he left and got more success. And now a seemingly similar percentage (if not the same posters) hates Young. Which is why I largely ignore the rants about Young here.
-
Yeah, I’m a Darnold fan. Can’t say the same about the other QB from that draft we acquired around the same time

Every team passed on him until the end of the 5 th. The Rams took Stetson Bennett 4 pick ahead of Puka. Puka was a 6th or 7th round projection. They got lucky. Puka got some attention during the practices for the Senior Bowl but either didn't play or didnt have any stats in the game. -
If Canales has any interest in his job security he has already had conversations with Dan Morgan about upgrading the QB room this year.
-
Wake me up when we can break the run game blockade that a good defense puts up, by throwing the ball. Get back to two dimensional through our passing game.
-
We just extended Evero. Not happening
-
Canales certainly has his faults but what semblance of a passing game he's been able to create at times with Bryce Young is admittedly impressive. I mean Wilks had both Darnold and Mayfield at one point and managed to flat out get his ass handed to him by the Bengals. He's bounced around the league ever since for a reason.
-
I think this is a mute topic because Canales and Ejiro are not going anywhere unless Ejiro gets that job with the Raiders (which looks like they are leaning offensive minded.) That said, this coming season will be a make it or Break it year for Canales. He will either need to get this team to a winning record or else I can see him out. Both Tomlin and McDermott will both be available because I believe both will take a year off and evaluate teams through out the season.

You mean that game where the defense gave up 91 yards and 6 first downs through penalties to the Saints ( that was 1/4 of the Saints total yards and a 3rd of their total 3rd down conversions). That game where the QB had as many rushing yards ( 49 ) as the top rusher (Rico). That game where the Panthers had a 7 point lead going into the bottom of the 4th and Hubbard couldn't pick up 1 yard on a fourth down turning the ball over on downs. That game where Olave then torches Horn with 4 catches for 63 yards and the tying TD. And that game where Ransom hit Shough on a QB slide making the winning FG a 48 yarder instead of a 63 yarder. Not sure I would say that loss was on the QB.
-
Oh man that reeks of desperation. who the fug is he going to hire? He can’t even bring back Steve Wilks
-
No, it's a QB vs. QB thing. Klubnik was surrounded by a ton of talent and a proven elite coach and just didn't get it done. There's a reason why the entire Clemson fanbase is rejoicing in him running out of eligibility. If you can't get it done with all those competitive advantages it's unlikely to happen at a higher level of competitor without them.
-
Agreed - he had to endure the dumpster fires that were us and the jets for a long time before finding teams that aren't dumpster fires
