  1. Past hour
  2. Norman had the better peak but bradberry was more consistent over a longer period
  3. It is hard to gauge a kicker until you need him with the game on the line. My kicker in college went on the NFL for a 10-year career--he wanted the shine. We knew we had a weapon. I don't know what it is like to want to go for it on 4th and 5 on the 34 yard line because your guy can't nail it.
  4. He dismantled a superbowl team, can't ever forgive him for that
  5. Excited about the new additions and hoping I dont eventually feel like this
  6. We have one guy here who played with Norman. I am sure there are a few guys working for the team that were here in 2015, might be people we would never hear about though.
  7. Bradberry was never on 2015 Josh Normans level. He was a decent corner, but not a replacement. His ball skills were ass, Norman erased half of the field in 2015
  8. Bradberry was a great pick and worthy replacement. Rest of that draft was ass though
  9. It’s cool to have him back around that's for sure. Unfortunately his time here was cut short because of our tub-of-lard GM at the time. As far as I know, he has pretty much no direct ties to anyone on the current staff or front office - so it’s random to have him around but I’m glad that we have an open invitation to one of this lowly franchise’s most important players.
  10. Stupid fuger. Im not going to pay you, ill just flat out release you and waste the draft trying and failing to replace you. I thought the poo was a joke when the news broke he had rescinded the tag.
  11. I'll always despise Dave Gettleman for letting his ego get in the way of smart football business on that one. That fiasco absolutely sucked the air out of that locker room and pretty much tanked that season before it started.
  12. Today
  13. Love Josh Norman, one of my favorite Panthers. Glad to see him at camp.
  14. I like the progress on the goal line but definitely need to see the work from the passing offense in the middle of the field improve. It's been a problem area for us for some time now. Credit to our new safety though.
  15. This team FINALLY has a Safety! Moehrig has been the least talked about FA signing on this board but will easily have the biggest impact on the Defense this year immediately! So pumped for this signing as should everyone on here. The guy is a heat seaking cruise missile in the back end of our defense. Haven't had one of those since Coleman big year.
  16. The existence of this post determined that was a lie. LOL
  17. I agree we will not know until the pressure is on, but what do you want the guy to do? He has impressive film, and is nailing it at camp. He is doing all he can right now, and I have not heard anything negative about him or his attitude. For sake of discussion and so it doesn't look like I am baselessly bashing Eddy... He had two attempts at greater than 50 yards. He made 1 (53). This to me, shows a lack of confidence in his leg. Most of the actual top kickers in the league have around 15 attempts. Dallas's kicker went 14/17 with a long of 65.
  18. to clarify, I wasn't complimenting the last kicker. I'm saying, making kicks in practice or even in games at a high rate......isn't how you define kickers. Our last guy is one of best technically. But he wasn't. Because when he missed mattered more than his makes. So who knows if we got a good one on our roster yet. That's my only point. He could go 50/50 at camp. You only know when they get asked about those pressure/game winning kicks.
  19. Because he has an attitude and weak leg. Let's not pretend everything was great just because the stat sheet looks good. We had to go for it a lot of times when we shouldn't have because we knew "accurate Eddy" didn't stand a chance at hitting.
  20. Poo me, but Cam really tarnished his image in my eyes with the MVP over SB thing. I don’t want to rehash it as everyone already said their piece, but it killed what little interest I may of had in Cam off of the football field. That said, I still wish him success.
  21. That year was good, but I think 2002 was our best. Peppers, Rucker, Fields, Jenkins, Buckner, Dan Morgan, and Al Wallace gave us a lethal front 7, and we played a very aggressive style of defense. Unfortunately, the offense that year was offensive.
  22. From what I have read of him, some of the things he did might now be considered criminal now.
