He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust

It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).

Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen. Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive?

It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.

Ah, makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying.

Arrowhead is done, as Chiefs make move to Kansas.
Mike2.0 replied to UnluckyforSome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can understand teams going for climate controlled domes. It gives them a possibility of hosting a Super Bowl and it takes the elements out of games. However, I do feel that we are losing some of the soul of the game with teams moving towards climate controlled domes. Seeing players brave the elements and play football to see who comes out on top is, for me, more fun to watch than seeing two teams sling the ball around in perfect conditions inside a dome. However, pristine conditions and fancy stadiums are the go to now for the executives in the NFL. -
Benjamin first then Watt both of them

Round 2 tonight. Would love a win missing half the team.

The move across the border has nothing to do with expansion. The fact will be that the state of Missouri, previously home to 2 teams, will no longer have a team at all. -

Should Trevin Wallace ever start for us again? In my opinion the defense got better through addition by subtraction

Todd Bowles is losing his locker room… Canales meanwhile
Aussie Tank replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I really don't want him sacked. With our luck the pricks will grab some offensive guru. I know Canales is doing well but it must really hurt seeing what Coen is doing in Jacksonville -
The greatest trick Daniel jones ever played was convincing the world he was good

I almost never watch a Panthers game sitting down through the commercials. Redzone used to be the only way I'd watch football and now they have ads in that too. Since the DirecTV version of Redzone was shut down with Andrew Siciliano I'm really not as into it. NFL football is changing and I think the allure is dropping. Too many other things people are into these days and it will be knocked off as the top dog in American sports eventually.

I will forever hate TJ Watt for nuking his shoulder on purpose and changing the trajectory of this franchise for a decade.....FUG TJ WATT fwiw To OP point "THE BANK" has to be rocking again this weekend. Seahawks are beatable, we took it to the Rams, should've beat 49ers so I don't think it's crazy to think that Seahawks take us lightly and can get a huge W come Sunday. Keep Pounding

This is the reason. After that Super Bowl in the rain a while back, they look at Domes unless it’s in a favorable climate. A Super Bowl brings so much money to a city it’s ridiculous. -
Luke still has it.

With a better coach we would have 10 wins already With better receivers we would have 10 wins already With better pass protection we would have 10 wins already With a better defense we would have 10 wins already

27th in PF 25th in yards May not be bottom 3 but it is still close to the bottom. 2024: 23th in PF 29th in Yards Still bottom of the league even after Bryce came back. I am pretty much resigned that if the Panthers want to win a SB with Bryce they are gonna have to build an elite defense, kinda like what the Broncos had in 2015 or even this year. Because I doubt the Panthers will ever be more than a 32-20th ranked offense with Bryce at the helm. Even with that a SB is gonna be hard to reach. I mean the last time a defense carried a bad offense to a SB was 2015.

Nice! Congratulations! I hope you take the title.

He's gonna be able to talk about his grandkid watching him play in the NFL. -
With a better QB this team would have 10 wins already.

I look at a QB and think, “Can he get us to a Super Bowl and win it?” The answer is always no. Only 2 short QBs have ever won a Super Bowl in its 50+ years existence and those two QBs has elite arms. One has an elite defense as well. Only way this team is gonna get to a Super Bowl with BY is if have a team like the Jimmy G 49ers. Elite defense that can make up for an offense. Pretty much carry Bryce to a Super Bowl.

also the reason why the Draft has been on the move around the country - gives stadiums that are less likely to host a SB something to use as a showcase
