It's a garbage play and we all know why the league wants to "protect" Qbs so much. Can't hit em high, can't hit em low, protect them as much as you want in the pocket, but once they break the line a scrimmage and become a runner the bubble wrap should come off. I'm surprised a defender hasn't torn a ACL coming to a sudden stop trying to not touch a player running full speed a split second ago.

My issue with the last play is the saints clearly had no intention of running another play and were banking on the refs throwing a flag. Im all for protecting QBs but if you wanna run a designed run he needs to be treated like a regular football player. Its incredibly frustrating after a decade of watching Cam get destroyed. Do we really want to pretend if that was Rico taking a direct snap and sliding right before the defender engages that were getting that call?

it was just said as an example of one coach being handicapped. As far as that goes Bryce ain’t much better, if any better at all, than the backup, Rattler. No way we should be paying him that 5th year option money.

Those 2 choked on the biggest stage again. Honestly, we should’ve expected it. It felt good to really care again, but with how this game played out, I know firmly that those 2 wont work out and I’m ready to move on.

bUt BrYcE dOeSn'T hAvE aNy WeApOnS. Not having any push rush is a direct consequence of using early draft capital towards offense since Bryce doesn't have any weapons. Pass rush almost always has to be drafted, and drafted early. Rarely does it become available through free agency, and what is typically available in free agency is there because of flaws or out-pricing the market. Teams don't just push good pass rushers out on to the street.

Instead of the tush push, do the tush toss. With BYs size, that's an easy 20 yard gain.
