  1. Past hour
  2. The real question is why did he ever start? Cant players earn their starting position for this team? The egos of our front office must be really fragile to just pencil in starters because of draft position. Lets try to win for a change.
  3. I definitely wouldn't' say he is a franchise QB. but for a rookie QB, 8 starts into his career.......you gotta like what you are seeing from him. Because regardless of competition, he is playing at high level given the circumstances (rookie that came in on a bad team) I've been impressed by both Shough and Dart
  4. It doesn't rile me up simply entertains me with their insane takes. I do hate listen to panthers segments
  5. Oh Shough has earned the starting role to pencil him in as next year's starter, they are going to have plenty of other holes they will have to fill first. But again, small sample size, against meidocre to bad teams with little pressure to perform - let's see what happens when more people have film on him. I'm not saying he's a guaranteed bust but I also think most of the board who is already labeling him a franchise QB that we missed on are overreacting to the two games they watched against our inconsistent team.
  6. Im not getting worked up over anything. I was simply answering your question. I gave a very plausible reason why someone could root for us to lose on Saturday. We have a very reactionary owner who's acted on emotion several times. I don't think it's at all out of the realm of possibility that an Atlanta type game could result in a long term extension. It happens. Tepper's an owner that's gotten it wrong virtually every step of the way for 8 years. It's not a huge leap to think he wouldn't jump at the opportunity to sign Bryce long term after a "i knew it" moment.
  7. Nope. Burns never made any game changing plays that I can think of. He was all hype.
  8. Why do you let FNZ rile you up so much? Their goal is to engage and have some level of access to the Panthers which is why they largely are a mouthpiece for the organization rather than an influencer.
  9. I agree but you got the Vikings, Steelers, Raiders, Jets, Browns, maybe even Falcons that are probably going to get into a bidding war over him considering what their QB rooms are going to look like next year and with nothing of warrant in this upcoming draft class. Throw Cardinals and Dolphins in there too lol.
  10. would be funnier if the Steelers won so we were made the Sunday night game but it became meaningless with Atlanta winning at 1pm
  11. On top of that he will be 25 this month, brain is pretty much fully formed already lol. It's not like he's a 20 year old freak athlete that needs a couple years to adjust, he is who he is already.
  12. It was so outlandish at the time it was never mentioned in the possible scenarios. Now here we are. That’s funny stuff.
  13. I was thinking about what you said in your post and my whole draft philosophy is kind of the opposite. I believe that every prospect is a gamble and a risk so if you're going to gamble then you gamble on upside and potential. If Bryce Young fails it won't be because he wasn't pro-ready or he isn't accurate or any of those things that you will worry about with Willis. It will be because he lacks the parameters and traits that are needed to do the job what good is it to know what to do if you don't have the arm strength to get it there the speed to capitalize on what you see I'd rather gamble on the guy that already has those assets at the ready available to him then a guy who looks the part but you're not sure he can get it done with the ability that he has. I think you're doing yourself a disservice if you're only looking at wins losses or production and saying hey he won or through 50 touchdowns you can't factor in like some of that production might have come from his teammates or weapons around them you got to look at the whole big picture and in calculating all of that I put a higher value on athletic traits and do you have the things I need you to do to be able to do the job and the rest of it I think is coaching out gamble on the long-term upside versus who I think is pro-ready right now
  14. For what it’s worth there’s rumors Pete carrol is going to be fired. Wonder if he retires or if canales can get him on the staff somehow.
  15. to all the Low-T Betas crying about "pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza" / "we’ll get embarrassed if we admit we like it" stop the nonsense stop the embarrassment go back to watching The View with your girlfriend’s other boyfriend while eating your dry cheese-only slice like a toddler Pizza culture has not sniffed innovation in nearly a decade, a total abyss of pathetic, boring, flavorless display of culinary cowardice Do I think pineapple pizza is going to replace pepperoni and conquer the world, absolutely not Would I be excited to proudly order it anyway? hell yea and deep down you’d give up making out with your first cousin on the weekend to take a bite of a hot, fresh, pineapple slice We need to normalize pineapple on pizza to set the blocks for the future of flavor We have an up-and-coming generation of taste buds who need guidance a STUD of a topping that is COOKING a wrecking ball of sweetness that hits like a freight train a stud salty counterpart like ham or bacon to balance it a young buck of creativity for toppings that is just getting started a true #1 cheese holding it all together a solid crust foundation a sauce that is progressing It’s not perfect, it’s not traditional, but I am beyond elated with the direction pizza is going I will be in the pizzeria cheering on the boys stacking pineapple on that dough and so should you And for the national mouth breather association who will undoubtedly poo and flame everything I post… have a blessed day
  16. I can't defend Richardsons failure to this point. And he is still as young as the rookies being taken this past season. I think he still could pan out. XL is another case. I think he looked the part but some of his times and film showed he struggled separating and the fact he never showed up being good before his 5th season. Laad was my obvious choice at that point(tho I was banging the table to trade up and grab Thomas Jr when he fell into the 20s). Ladd didn't lack athleticism and had the route running and mental part to boot. Didn't see a weakness in his game expect he was smaller..
  17. Surprised? I wouldn't be surprised. I think you are missing my point. I'm not saying the Panthers won't extend Bryce. I'm just saying that decision won't be based off one game. This game is not going to decide if Bryce is released or given a 5-year deal. Like, those are crazy extremes. The people who will be surprised are those who think the Panthers losing this week will automatically mean Bryce is gone in the offseason or won't be starting again for us next year, since that seems to be the only reason people are wanting them to lose. Which is why I think it is silly to be rooting for that. Because we can all pretend we know what the FO is thinking, but we don't. So why not just enjoy the moment and the possibility of hosting a playoff game? Like, what's the point of being a fan of the team if we can't even enjoy moments like this? Just because of something that MIGHT happen in the offseason?
  18. Weird question that I'm sure some of you will hate: I don't know the legalities of this. If the Steelers lose, they're eliminated. Doesn't that put Adam Thielen out there with no strings attached? Wouldn't we be able to bring him in for the playoffs? He wanted to go out with a bang and he already knows the system plus has a great connection with Bryce. I sure would feel better about TMac/Coker/Thielen as our top three and let Legette sit more/all out if we were going to have any shot of making noise postseason.
  19. Renfrow has a chronic medical condition so bad it caused him to miss a whole season and it’s probably pretty hard to physically recover when you’re shitting your guts out all week. also he got hospital ball’d by Bryce earlier in the year and i wouldn’t come back if I was him either. XL hasn’t been the same since Bryce got his guts rearranged in Philly, and Hayden Hurst never played again. Bryce out there ruining his team mates careers.
  20. I think you are going to be surprised at what they do if we win. The media is going to guilt trip the team into an extension
  21. Renfrow is a one of one. Said from the jump, his route running never fit Dave's O or Bryce. He wasn't a replacement for AT, who was basically a TE for Bryce. I don't think Dave had a clue what to do w/ Renfrow and was just inserting him into an AT type role. Renfrow is great at his Renfrow routes and moving chains. Even today. We saw all camp and folks like Horn documenting it. But Bryce can't see the area of the field well Renfrow runs his routes, nor is getting the ball out on time and accurately his specialty. But that's not Dave's offense either. I still think Renfrow just missed football and wanted to prove he could comeback....and wanted one year in his backyard childhood/team. But much like so much of the Panthers, yet another round peg and square hole situation. Just no fit for what he does well (which is super specialized)
  22. Again with the assumptions buddy this is your make believe mirror scenario. Creating a false reality you just made up is classic mental health issues.
  23. So like I said, you are basing this off nothing but conjecture. You don't know the teams intentions. You are getting yourself worked up over assumptions. The idea that the difference between Bryce being released in the offseason or being given a 5-year extension is one NFL game is silly. I don't think it is grounded in reality whatsoever. If the team plans to give Bryce a 5-year contract, it's going to happen regardless of how Saturday goes.
  24. The Washington Generals. I heard this Shane Falco guy is a really good QB
