Jimmy Horn Jr injured during practice
Gapanthersfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t see it taking very long before Coker supplants himself as the firm #2 option in the WR room. It’s a crowded WR room, but he’s easily capable (IMHO) of a 700 yd 8+ TD type season. -

If this is true I don't hate it. We could definitely use "some Miami" on this team. It's something we've lacked since Cam left. And in the 6th round, I feel like we're adding a really good return specialist if nothing else by picking JHJ. - Today

Jimmy Horn Jr injured during practice

I love what Dan has done to the WR room. This is AT last year, Dan is hoping Hunter will replace AT, that lets Coker have more time to develop behind Hunter (if Hunter doesn’t have it, we move on with Coker as AT replacement) T-Mac and XL will be outside. Horn is the punt returner Moore will be moved to PS until he is needed because of an injury -

Absolutely. However, when it comes down to making decisions, he needs to let the surgeons operate and not grab a scalpel because he can. I look at it from his perspective-if he is lacking confidence in the GM (as he should have with Fitterer) or coaches (Rhule and Reich were not right for this team) then I can see some micromanagement. Human nature. So you make good points. -
@GloTheofficial sitting on a hidden gem and she ain't even drop it yet...I guess I'll look forward to this for the summer since..... SOMEONE AINT DROPPING....this heat tho, need #keyshiacole as a ft ! Maybe she just called up XL because he's an expert on dropping things?!?

Regardless of an early June injury, the WR room, at least on paper right now, has never been deeper. AT needs to be the slot possession WR (Ricky Proehl) and Coker is quite possibly his long term replacement, if not a solid #2. Renfrow could give us a solid few years as well. XL will probably improve with the TMac competition. TMac is goofy, but on the field, he has done nothing but produce. Horn is sneaky fast, and I wonder if he would not have done better in college at a university that did not have Hunter. He is a deep threat and was on a team with a bad OL, so his numbers were a bit low. In fact, there are two WRs who signed UDFA contracts who will probably go to the PS and wait for a season. We are in fine shape at WR, if everyone progresses.

its a non-issue for us as panthers fans but he is super popular on Tik Tok so he it at least does give the panthers personality which is something this team has needed for awhile

I mean, you can't help but think she's rapping about X with those lyrics. Plenty of people think so. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjqLcCwd/ This is hilarious, BTW.

https://x.com/yallpusscimback/status/1925229600172388581?s=46 this looks like the song. Idk if the team will play it in the lockerroom after a dub but they might if XL catches the winning toss

We also couldn't score off the rebound. Or connect in the slot. -

Oilers power play is pretty nuts. Canes couldn’t make Florida pay for the penalties that were called. -
From someone that told me about the Walker and Ghosty signings last off-season. Burns would not be on first pair. Would be with Nikishin on 2nd pair, if Nikishin is able to learn the language enough to make the team. Also Canes will definitely offer Marner and the team has already talked to his agent. Expected offer/rate it will take to sign him will be 13AAVx7 years.

This may be the best piece of media this organization has ever put out....I'm fully confident in this front office, and believe they have developed the chemistry to turn us into a winner. -

It was certainly a thriller. The refs gifted the Panthers 2 of those goals. I'm glad the Oilers won this game, or that would be the story for the rest of the series. Good poo, Oilers. -

Where did you hear this? Or is this speculation? I'd like Burns back. Maybe not paired with Slavin.

Gapanthersfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Discussing the initial player interviews, Dan said: “And how did you first come to love football?” I am really loving Dan’s approach. He wants to know if these dudes have heart. I can’t recall that ever being a stated point of emphasis. Edit: Never realized that Dan is a lefty.
