That’s quoting Benjamin Albright who is a beat writer for the broncos. It just appeared on that site for the Google search. Asking if you’re the one getting duped is, well… also I deleted it accidentally but this is absolutely not water under the bridge. That implies something happened that we are over. That everyone has moved on. we absolutely have not moved on. We’re going to suffer through it until Bruce is off the team, and probably until they have a winning season again. this is more like water as a wave crashing repeatedly into our dick. And the water is full of jelly fish. And the jelly fish all have herpes.

Caleb Williams is struggling big time in OTAs
SOJA replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
Going to laugh my ass off when Drake Maye is the best QB from this class like I've been saying all along -

it is the only way people will stop talking about it. Then the narrative should be: "Chicago could have just drafted CJ stroud" -
If Guentzel resigns I'd bet a solid amount on both Aho and Him getting 100
-
It all hinges on Guentzel IMO....

My daughter had a teacher named Mrs Legette. She was from South Carolina too, and that was a teacher that she loved, and her mother and I loved. Ima get both her and me Legette jerseys to start the year. I just need him to show something this preseason to justify the purchase

I don't believe any site that is ran by fans. So much of that is what they want. Most were saying that the Panthers wasn't leading on anyone in particular throughout most of the draft. When the team was as the Stroud pro day, was when most fans hitched themselves to Stroud. I am under the impression that our star studded coaching staff and our GM ultimately led the team to picking Young. I know Tepper absolutely signed off on it, as he's the owner of the team and no QV drafted 1st overall isn't going to have the owners blessing. Stroud did a fantastic job in Houston. Pretty sure he wouldn't have enjoyed then same success here. Either way, it's water under the bridge. Our franchise as a whole doesn't do well when selecting a QB to draft. Cam being the outlier. I also don't believe the story with Young and the Panthers is even close to being written yet. Does that make me one that got dupped? I feel I'm pretty unbiased when I make my opinions, despite wanting all Panthers to succeed. You can be both. -
As a person it is incredibly hard to root against this guy even you are a fan of another team. I feel like even if he busts he would still be very likable by our fans.

His elite trait is supposed to be processing the field but his short stature mitigates that because he cannot see the field on a regular basis. I am not sure how you mitigate this, you cant roll out of the pocket on every play or scramble into sacks like he did last season. -
He stepped down because he wanted to do something different but also make more money. good news is the team has a trade partner for Necas now.
-
However, I don’t know about Svech but Aho and Guentzel playing together for a full year could flirt with those numbers. But just those 2. Jarvis is a few years away and unfortunately, Svech is who he is. Necas will do it in another system.
-
Yeah, we’ve only had one player in Hurricanes history with a 100 point season (Staal in 05-06). Getting another one would be a feat in itself, three is highly unlikely.
-
Doesn't make sense that he's taking on a bigger role in Columbus, then.

Does the Canales era have a new vibe?
Pejorative Miscreant replied to SmittysLawnGuy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Haven’t gotten all the way thru but it’s pretty good. in summary: -
Seems like a dome isn’t part of the plans. Retractable roof would be way better than a dome… could still have the sunny day games with skyline views , but could also get Super Bowls and Final Fours played in Charlotte. That would be awesome if you ask me. But totally get not wanting a dome!!!! I definitely prefer an outdoor stadium 100%

He doesn’t have the NFL size or arm strength and right now his processing has been bust to me he is Danny Wuerfeul 2.0 but he’ll get 2 more seasons to sink or swim -

In his personal life he had to overcome demons and work through therapy. I think that level of insight will help him in his professional life -
I didn’t want to make a thread but thought this was a pretty good time suck that might fit in here move it if you want. This guy works his way through the roster and staff piece by piece:

How can you not root for this young man?!

It's been a long-used narrative that Charlotte can't support a Super Bowl. However, it looks like after their new stadium opens, Nashville will work itself into the rotation. If Nashville can, Charlotte can. The main difference though is that Nashville is clearly an entertainment town with cross-section appeal now. Charlotte is all business.

Excited to get back to my show Wonderfest after I missed it last year getting a transplant. Been going since 95, staff member since 04. My project for display this year

I think initially the plan was to build a dome when building a whole new stadium back when that was talked about early in the Rhule era. Then during Covid and the stricter policies I think Tepper told reporters that it changed the way he thought about a new stadium and referenced the nice weather in the Carolinas being another reason to rethink it. I think you only go after a dome if you build a new stadium which doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon. The only other reason I see a dome is if the plan is to get a SB bid which I doubt would happen because Charlotte doesn’t really have the infrastructure to support that kind of event. My guess is they are just going to use the money to upgrade the hell out of the existing facilities and then add those other rumored expansions.

I just can’t see that happening in rods system unless he changes his tune on some things.
