  1. Everyone acting like Young was a reach now is dumb. Who cares if Nicole likes him, so did the rest of football media.
  2. I remember going to a Bobcats game, I think it was the 7-59 season, and they gave everyone a ticket to the next game after a fan made a free throw. I didn't feel like waiting at will call for mine.
  3. If Reich didn't have the balls to stand up to Tepper it's on him. He'd get the credit if we were winning, he doesn't get to weasel out of just because we aren't.
  4. All the hype over how smart the organization was going into the season has opposing teams just flexing on us now to make a point. Every week it's cutesy trick plays and Bryce getting fooled by some defensive look.
  5. fans literally marched to the stadium in a parade to see Cam return while we had a losing record bro it's not a mystery
  6. most hilarious indictment on Fitterer is that our defensive scheme isn't helping Burns and this offensive scheme would only work with McCaffery.
  7. There's been so many complaints about the trade up to get him I didn't know he was doing well
  8. I'd jump at this gig as a coaching candidate. Rich and desperate owner, Heisman QB, win five games and you look like Bill Belichick
  9. Start with the GM. We don't want Tepper and Fitterer leading the search again.
  10. Saw a reddit comment explain that Clifford's defensive system is about limiting turnovers and forcing opponents to take difficult shots. It doesn't work anymore because teams have so many three point shooters now.
  11. If he can't hire a good GM how's he's going to pick a consultant with even more responsibilty?
  12. Outside of financial details I don't think there's any decision you can peg solely on Fitterer. He doesn't strike me as that type of GM. He was spared because it was mostly on Rhule but he definitely shouldn't get a free pass on those years. Empowering him was about giving him the chance to clean up the mess he helped make. If he can't do that he's next on the chopping block.
  13. If Fitt’s fired it’ll be because of his career here not because of the QB choice. Bryce was a group decision there won’t be a fall guy.
  14. That should be his leash. He gets another year since they've pissed away 2024 already but no trades.
  15. Reich is safe. Tepper doesn't want to bail early. Fitt is probably safe only because no GM will want to come in with no first round pick.
  16. @frankw said it best if we have to coddle Bryce mentally we've already lost. That was the whole point of drafting the dude.
  17. Eddie knew it too that's why he shrugged.
  18. His court date's the 13th. Looks like the NBA's sweeping it under the rug until the legal process plays out. They'll suspend someone over a IG video though.
  19. Adding another middle man on top of the GM doesn't change anything. The experienced football people he hired to make decisions are our wonderful staff with their pedigrees. Even if you want to let them off the hook by blaming all of our woes on the Teppers adopting Bryce, the owner has to give someone the authority. Does this Football Czar get choose whether to fire or keep staff? What happens if he sucks too?
  20. Embracing the low effort posts huh? Can't beat em, join em?
  21. I agree but that includes the other QBs from Bryce's class. Everyone's situation and development timeline is going to be different. Point is half of a rookie season isn't enough to draw conclusions about any quarterback whether that's Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf.
  22. https://www.panthers.com/video/must-see-bryce-young-locates-jonathan-mingo-deep-downfield-for-40-yard-pickup You're right but Mingo's cutting outside so there wasn't a whole lot of wiggle room to begin with. I'm thinking about the open catches in middle of the field. It's like he's fixated on getting the ball to it's predetermined spot and doesn't apply touch based on the coverage. He just throws everything like a touch pass. Think we can chalk that up to the playcalling and being a rookie but it's still surprising when extending plays was his calling card in Bama.
  23. I will say for the noodle arm theory, even in the rare moments he's hit an open guy downfield the recievers look like they nearly have to come to a stop for the ball. I don't think I've seen him hit an open man in full stride.
  24. Everyone watching knows whether we're about to pass or a run and we don't even attempt to misdirect. There isn't a QB on earth that would thrive in this "system".
  25. For you soccer haters imagine if Matt Rhule ran a scheme only he understood and shuffled players positions every week that's Mr. Lattanzio
