NFC Playoffs - Seahawks at Vikings
Carolina Cajun replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Vikings match up well with the Cards. They will grind the game to a snails pace just like they did a few weeks ago. They might not win, but I do think it would be close. -

Ok, I was about to yell if the ball was marked at the 10. -

Cam rarely if ever does the throw at the O-linemans third cousin's pinky toe to avoid intentional grounding poo. -

Even if they win, they aren't gonna be able to bank on Lucky bullshit beating us. If they play like they did for the first 3 quarters against us, we're gonna be up by 21+. -

I seriously can not think of a luckier team in NFL history. I legitimately could see them kick a field goal and have it bounce off a defenders helmet and go through the uprights. -

I'd be ok with them, our biggest weakness on defense, they can't exploit because they don't have the personnel to (pass rush with a fairly immobile and unsure QB, and nickel Corner, just having a JAG in the slot). On the other hand, their run game and pass rush would cause huge issues for Arizona. -

Dude, I couldn't believe that Pete Carroll blamed headset issues instead of giving any credit to the crowd for this. The crowd (combined with the weather) is making a devastating homefield advantage here. Time of All Day to take over. -

Dude, fug the NFL and this bullshit. This needs to be corrected in the offseason, the BS throw at an o-linemans feet to avoid a sack is the biggest crock of poo in the NFL. -

At least seahawk fans can be proud of the fact that their team has more points than the field has degrees in temperature... -

If it's anything like how Pickles used to be, it's not the play call, he's checking down. Teddy has shown some good downfield throws, I think more than anything is that he just needs to trust himself more. -

DAMN, you called it! I wonder if the Ski-masks they have on under their helmet are also making it hard to hear when added with the crowd noise. -

Seattle has now burned all 3 timeouts with 13 minutes to go in the first half. -

Yes and no, I think Zimmer is trying to prevent rhythm and this is gonna buy a 4 minute break after they just had something positive happen. -

2 timeouts and a botched fake punt, it doesn't look like the Seahawks are prepared for this game thusfar...like...maybe they were overlooking the vikings, as if they might have to really worry about a very good team next week... -

They were alright at first, but they've been so over-killed it's aggravating now. -

It wasn't pretty, but points are points here. Keeping the Seahawks off the field for long periods of time allows them to not get in a rhythm. The other thing is, while the Vikings don't have the points to show for it, they have pounded that Seahawk defense for the entire first quarter. If you're pulling for the Vikings , it was a good first quarter. -

Like we've seen with Riverboat, I think it can go both ways. I'm thinking if between the 40's, and you have 4th and less than 2, they would be more apt to go for it. All of it is for naught though, the punter's face is just menstruating (I think my post earlier in the week regarding Russel Wilson's tendency might have come into play). He'll be able to punt, he'll just be moody. -

I wonder if the Injury to the Seahawks punter might actually help them. My guess is Seattle will be more aggressive in short yardage situations as to not force him to go out there. -

I wouldn't give up on peterson, it's just one drive. The guy did lead the NFL in carries, so obviously he gets better as the game goes on, and I expect that today. The thing is, throwing lanes are open for Bridgewater, he will have his opportunity to prove that he is more than a game manager today.
