I don't think anyone was offering first round picks for a guy that has not been on the field the last 2 seasons. Just they way it is. I am curious to see how the 9ers use Deebo and Christian together as they are very similar in what they do.

combine this with the lack of effort Robbie has shown since he signed his big contract and you have a recipe for disaster. Neither have looked like they are trying very hard all year and Robbie pretty much quit last year.

I think you are right. Defense generated 7 points yesterday and then played the second half without their 2 starting corners and it showed. Offense generated 3 points. You can only expect so much out of the defense. They are not the problem.

I should have stuck with my plan not to watch the game.

Chris Weinke comes to mind. Dude took geritol instead of supplements.

While I generally agree with that statement I think in most cases it is just because they are so physically gifted they did not have to study as much and relied more on their physical traits. Luke while certainly talented physically also had to be very cerebral to play at the level he did. I think those type players can make good coaches.

Oh hell no

While Baker is clearly not playing well the entire offense sucks. We need to pick up a running back that can run between the tackles and spend some time on the field. The receivers even when thrown to are hardly open. The design of the plays is more predictable than Brady's. Defenses are sitting on every route. Hard to lay the blame totally on Baker when we have no running game and crappy play calling.

I agree he does not seem to have the patience to build a team the right way.

I think every time there is a batted ball someone from the coaching staff gets a kick to the balls Maybe we would fix it more quickly or even care for that matter.

The problems with this team go directly to coaching for me. The lack of discipline in every facet is just unreal. It starts with the coach who looks like he rolled out of bed and to the game each week. Have some pride and discipline in yourself before you expect it from the team. There is no clear identity for the offense. They hang the defense out to dry every game. If we had any sort of offense this team would be in a much better place. I think the team should cut ties now and start start working on their next head coach. I was excited when they hired Rhule thought he would bring some creativity to the offense, but I was dead wrong. I quite watching in the third quarter yesterday as it was one of the sloppiest games I can every remember watching. I am not sure how much of my weekend I will carve out to watch the rest of the season. It is just brutal. We need an offensive minded head coach and a solid D-coordinator. I would see Wilks running the D not sure who for head coach.

I really like DJ. Anderson is not taking any attention in the secondary. He really just seems to be going through the motions at best which puts more on DJ. I would bench Anderson and put someone out there that really wants to play. Obviously Baker needs to get his accuracy figured out, but when you watch there really is not much separation out there.

He finally has someone next to him worth a crap. Look at how many times last year he was doubled. Glad to see him playing well maybe the bust talk from some here will finally go away, but I doubt it.
