  1. Lol, because Biakabutku tweeted that too! Even the players from way back hated the stench Rhule put on this franchise.
  2. Who cares if he gets to San Fran? Shanahan better have his platinum turd shineola ready if they hoping he's going to be even a good clip board holder for them.
  3. I still don't understand what made this guy such a hot coaching commodity for three offseasons. Only one year of NFL experience as an ASSISTANT offensive line coach with a mediocre Giants team. Yeah, he won at Temple. So did Al Golden who preceded him. He got an interview with the Colts after going 1-11 his first season at Baylor. Would have got the Jets job, but Jets management demanded he keep Gregg Williams as his DC and not bring in all of his college coaching buddies, so they went with Adam Gase. Tried to start a bidding war between the Giants and Panthers, but the Giants were smart enough not to engage in that for a college coach. Three seasons in Carolina, we still don't know what his expertise was. Is he an offense or defensive guy? It's not like he ever did anything innovative. Kliff Kingsbury didn't deserve his job in Arizona, but I can understand why he got it because the league is so thirsty for offense, and he had the Air Raid attack at Texas Tech (crazy to think he couldn't win with Patrick Mahomes). He really should be thankful for Tepper because his dream job was the Giants, and he would have gotten excoriated daily in that market. Now he can go on this revisionist history media tour and pretty much get no push back because the national media doesn't give a poo about small-market Carolina.
  4. You were right as he is the biggest snakeoil salesman out there especially in the coaching world. I mean how the hell is Nebraska buying in with this lack of accountability? But the players who defended him, especially the Baylor and Temple players still would have been down because most of them don't have the talent to grace any other NFL roster. The others had to be toeing the company line.
  5. They have busted on sooooo many picks lately, straight up cutting 1st rounders. I think of some of those guy's character issues and think about how we don't have to worry about Burns off the field at all whatsoever.
  6. People doing illustrations acting like they know a damn thing about playing running back or film in the league. Opposing players get up field and are basically two steps from taking the handoff from the QB and some couch potato talking bout planting the wrong leg. What about the play against Atlanta where Foreman cut back out of a clogged line of scrimmage and ran for twenty plus yards? I'm not one who believes anything about Foreman being better than CMAC, but it was a good trade and 22 ain't coming back no matter how much people try to dump on the current players. Yes, huddle gonna huddle.
  7. My sentiments exactly. I had a friend say how he felt he was a snake oil salesman from day one. So he says " I still watch film like all great coaches I've known when they get fired do, to see what I could've done better". The host asks so what is that. This is why he has no credibility amongst the fanbase, I feel like his speeches fell on deaf ears, and he lacked credibility with our players. He instantly is like "Ummmm, that's a good question" caught completely off guard like a kid bullshitting elaborating on a homework assignment they didn't do and stutters through some malarkey about player relationships. C'mon man, you look at film to see how you could have had better relationships with the players! No wonder everybody checked out but the dudes that played at Baylor and Temple.
  8. In Cam's MVP year, he ran for more TDs than Teddy has ever thrown for in a season in his career. I just couldn't get excited about him.
  9. This thread is noodles. CMAC got traded and no one else did. For the last time, get over it and quit crapping on the players that didn't get traded. DJ Moore produces when there is any form of decent QB play. It is laughable to say he has no dog or no fight in him. Go and watch how he carries himself on Amazon Doc, or see emotional explosion at end of first Atlanta game. The QB play this year has been below abysmal and literally every national pundit sees the guy as a great player. That is why they all wanted him in Green Bay, because he is a difference maker and Aaron Rodgers has jack shite for WRs. Yet here on the fanbase forum, you all are trying to say he is a JAG. How does that saying go, tell me you know nothing about something without telling me you know nothing?
  10. Yeah, Denver will has had a couple games this year with baseball scores late in to the second half.
  11. They need to get on that extension expeditiously.
  12. The kids of professional athletes really do have a huge jump on knowing what it takes to get to the next level. Having all that information at your fingertips really produces a pro level prospect. He has played and operated super efficiently off the bat, but I didn't know he was this polished.
  13. Exactly, we are making strides in o-line consistency for the first time since the early 2000s. As long as he doesn't come in there at 5'9", I wouldn't be opposed. I'd rather take him and he explode into thin air from a hit than take Will Levis.
  14. His value doesn't go down. We recently extended Moore and he still held high trade value this year. Also, the only reason the Rams didn't extend Von Miller was because of his age. "Wanting him for the cheap". Those picks they offered didn't seem like they wanted him cheap. Did you expect them to not extend him after trading this "no brainer" of a haul for him? That is why Chubb was extended. We are not a farm system, NFL Europe team that just develops players and then gives them away. Carolina can compete with a competent QB. They could be competing in two years, or still waiting to take picks in hopes that they could be as good for the team as Moore and Burns. As a fanbase, some tend to undervalue our players.
  15. And you must be the same who thinks he got injured running the ball. Cam Newton was injured trying to tackle the the CB Reed from the Chargers after Kelvin gave up in the endzone. Cam Newton would have been fine if that would've never happened. That started his surgeries. The running had zero to do with it and the way the refs let defenders tee off, he was more vulnerable in the pocket. The TJ Watt hit wouldn't have even mattered that much had it not started with this. “I threw an interception, trying to throw it to Benjy (Kelvin Benjamin),” Newton said. “I tried to go make the tackle, and I tried to push him out, and I extended my arm, and I messed up my AC joint.
  16. And the media too. I can't remember how many times I heard talking heads say they need to go get DJ Moore from Carolina.
  17. I applaud you for doing so and I do the same. I hope it has been like that for you your entire work history. But we don't work in an NFL front office and all jobs are not the same. Jimmy Johnson was a revolutionary drafter, scouter, talent evaluator, and coach but lost his job because of NFL politics. I am talking about all of your posts in this thread. Every time you are hit with some truth you bounce off to something else. You literally picked out one excerpt from a lengthy article and say this is it, all the other explanatory information contained therein is irrelevant. In the end it is all moot. We are just saying that Fitts helped build a consistent winner in Seattle. As the article said everything went through Rhule. The guy now has his chance to build with final roster say and his track record before he came here was strong.
  18. Just like you do at your job. Exactly, you wouldn't say shite and go along to get along. Good job on picking one excerpt out of a ten page article. You certainly know how to move the goalposts.
